I’ve had a Ariya e-4orce 87kWh for 3 months and love it. We’ve done several long trips with it without charging problem. I’d recommend it

I got a real deal on mine. I got the Engage with 205 miles, 2023 with 6900 miles for only $23,000! It was being used as a corporate car and was considered used. It is great and sits pretty high which I slowly grew into. I really don’t care about the range. First we have a level 2 charger installed at the house, and anytime I go on a long drive it tells me where to charge along my route. Any idiot that post anything saying they were stuck in the middle of the road in an electric car while on a road trip, is either posting it to get views because it’s fake, or he didn’t stop at the nearest station to charge it thinking he was going to make it. Anyways this is seriously an underrated car and I highly recommend it.

I just picked up for my wife a 2024 Platinum+ last week and it was a 3 hour drive home. Got to learn a lot on the drive. Must day that the Pro Pilot Assist 2.0 was the best driving assist I have every (personally) had so far. Very smooth and yet aggressive. Had my Audi behind me in the same mode on the way home and it was MUCH slower with wanting to keep up and hesitating before wanting to go, causing people to constantly cut in between us. But anyway, this Ariya is very nice and I liked it a lot. Just wish the sound system was a bit better, had tinted rear windows and didnt have to "pipe in" motor noise in sport mode. I also wish Nissan would allow different views of the camera system. Would be great to see each tire to avoid hitting curbs.

I took delivery of my evolve/e4orce+ Ariya AWD, with the Northern Lights metallic green-purple-black color on 9/25. It's my first EV and I LOVE IT. My previous vehicle (keeping) is a MBZ clk55-amg. There was only 10 miles on the odometer of the Ariya, so she was straight out the factory and off the truck. The look: she's a real head-turner. I get lots of comps and questions. The drive: excellent torque on "standard", good torque on "eco" and I haven't even tried "sport" mode (I don't think I need to yet) 😂. The ride is a little stiff, but very solid and not uncomfortable at all. The interior/exterior lighting was way more than expected. Overall: A great decision for a first EV. Im trying to convince the Mrs to buy her own! 😉 So in closing and in my opinion, this crossover is the most slept-on and underrated EV on the market! I highly recommend! P.S. I'm 6'5" 320 lbs, so there's that. Still love the comfort.

I think it got bad reviews because it was too expensive when it came out and had mediocre charging. I test drove it and thought it was very nice. Right now I can get a highly discounted Ioniq 5 that has similar range but better charging speed and there are a lot of them available. I’m hoping Nissan makes some updates for the 2025 as it just needs to improve a little to be competitive. I think it would be better off with a manually moving center console that has some storage like the I5 and a lot of people would like true one pedal driving. A couple of interesting colors would help too as they have just the basic colors everyone else has. I like the look of the haptic but I don’t think they function that well.

It's been pretty well proven that very, very few people actually make use of their frunks even if they have them. I suppose the extra storage space is a matter of peace of mind? Unless a frunk was huge I have no use for one and even still. I'd always prefer larger storage at the rear where I'm most likely to be loading up.
@DrDave_633956 ай бұрын
The frunk on my wife's BMW i3 is very convenient place to store the charging cables. - and it gets full of leaves.
@genesishep6 ай бұрын
@@DrDave_63395 I have no doubt about leaves, pine needles would be the challenge for me if I used a frunk. Charging cable storage makes sense, unless you port is towards the rear. And even if it stores your cables, it surely doesn't deserve much more room than is necessary to fit them. I tend to wonder if this is the reason for Kia's choices.

In my opinion the ariya has a beautiful design, its better than the ioniq, ev6, telsa, Bz4x, etc. the only thing i would say that sucks is the charging speed which is why i would choose ioniq or ev6, but for people who dont care about waiting a few more minutes and rather have a good looking ev than yeah get the ariya.

One pedal driving? What in the world is that? They took away the hand brake now the actual brakes?? How you gona corner at high speeds or cut traffic with no immediate stopping power. And why are ppl so lazy to drive with all these self driving tech, i have them but never used them. Im flooring the pedal wherever i go.
@markosborne1740Ай бұрын
IT's designed deliberately by Nissan to protect the car. You have two levels of regenerative braking (B mode, as opposed to D mode, plus the stronger E-pedal function). Works fine as one-pedal driving, but doesn't bring you to a complete stop, just to a slow creep like a normal automatic car. That actually saves you energy, because you're not making the complete stop and then moving off, unless you need to. Plus if you never use the brake at all, they eventually tend to seize up. So occasionally using the brake pedal is better for the hardware. All carefully designed by Nissan - I'm actually really impressed - like with the managed charging curve to protect the battery
