@@mathewgladden8914 Here in my homeland of the UK bluegrass gets no airplay on commercial radio, this is probably the reason i have not heard of these amazing artists. The strange thing is that when i did some research on the origins of bluegrass,i was surprised to find that English and Scots immigrants settled in Appalachian regions bringing with them the musical traditions of their homelands, thus developing these new musical bluegrass sounds. It does also have a blues like quality, which is something that i have loved for many years.....Discovering a musical genre like this is like having the best christmas present ever. @Da Squirrel That's true. The young man is incredibly talented. But an innate talent for something doesn't mean you can do that thing, it just means you have the ability to learn to do that thing. Every musician on that stage has spent thousands, and maybe tens of thousands of hours in practice, perfecting their skills. No matter what the field is, you have to put in the time and the sweat to get good.

This is what I call feeling the music down in your soul and letting escape through his very talented hands. I'm not sure, but I wouldn't think Billy would be able to tell you much about music theory or note progressions, it's a talent from God, that seems to overwhelm his mind and just pours itself out on the strings of his guitar...major major talent here, you don't come by this kind of talent very often. He's blended somewhat of every genre of music there is, into one throw down of musical talent and pleasure to listen to. I'm just in awe of his music in every possible way.

My husband and I have been following you since we stumbled upon a recorded Interview of you and Don Julin when you were in traverse city playing in different spots. One interview with the radio station WNMC 97 traverse city playing wild bill jones. Then you came to our home town Charlotte MI you and Don played at the Blue Grass festival at the Eaton CO fairgrounds, we have been following you ever since then ! Watching you explode in the Nashville scene and all over the United States! We have met your parents as well down at the windwalker, they are such sweet people, your dad Terry was doing some picking down there along with Dale Dixon. Then you had blown into town one night and played down there at the windwalker and of course I was working and missed you! My hubby and I have played down there a couple times, it’s a great place. Hopefully if you do come and play again I’ll be able to see you. A few years ago my husband and I stopped into the music store I think it was Main Street music in Ionia we both play guitar as well, so we like to browse the local music stores, the owner had said that he knew you too! I grew up just south of Lyons MI. Keep up the awesome playing ! We will continue to follow your exploding career! God bless you !
