A thought is born. It consumes old ideas to fill the void. The thought cries out and creates more thoughts. The thoughts cannibalize each other until one remains. A thought that is not voiced fades way.

That's a nice poetic way of putting it. It really points out a picture I didn't see before 😢

You don't need me to tell you how good this movie is; I'm sure you know already. But I am grateful for the opportunity to have watched such engrossing animation and sound. The storyline, although simple with a predictable conclusion, it nonetheless kept me involved right to the end. This was a joy to behold; thank you.

Not often you get a movie short or long that you sit staring at guessing conclusions, reasons, and sadly, the message all true about mankind, with your mouth hanging open the whole time, awesome, thank you

I realized This is exactly how l've viewed the world but too ambiguous that I couldn't express in any lanquage, any word. It turned out The language which could express this abstract nihilistic idea was Gökalp Gönens' film. Thank you. Now I can say to my parents and my friends "This is how I feel about the world." just by sending this KZbin link.

@tjlambaes Жыл бұрын
@@PrimitiveInTheExtreme It’d be cool if they put multiple cycles on like a 10 hour loop, thing is every time the cycle ends the board gets a little bigger. I feel like that is how humanity has been going all this time. We eat each other to raise our position and as time goes on there are more and more people consuming each other.

Excellent work! Animation style is very thought-provoking. I knew from the beginning it was going to be a cycle, but it didn't detract from the journey at all. Really enjoyed it. Did wonder, if you put a part of the creature through the door from this side, whether the hole in the door would close up, in the same manner it does for the creature. The hunger is real!

This is my interpretation summarized by 4 ideas: The greedy and contentious nature of mankind. How trying to survive in a zero sum game makes relationships form and break easily. The law of entropy: even those who do not wish to fight must inevitably fight for their cause and are brought into chaos. The importance of using words to resolve issues. Because once you lose your voice, there is no way backward or forward. You’re stuck in place. The idea of how small and insignificant we are as individuals in the grand scheme of the universe, and the cyclical nature of life and tendency of history to repeat itself with different but same characters.
