Hey everyone, I hope you enjoy episode three - “Time”! I’ll do my best to answer any questions in this thread. Fun fact: Episode three heavily features holograms - our visual effects supervisor, Ryan Wieber, also did many of the hologram shots for Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

In these loop situations, I like to see the loop properly completed. For example, Sanders is doomed because we saw his corpse, but it could be a "heroic sacrifice to save the others" or a "he didn't make it to the escape pod". I'm annoyed when the story allows people to change what has already been established as the observed future, and then justifies it with some chatter about "free will". The observed future IS the net result of all your free-will actions, INCLUDING the actions you chose because of having seen the future.

@@stevenscott2136 yeah, I agree with what he said. Errrrr I mean, what he WILL say 😜
@kevincrady28313 жыл бұрын
@Mr Grey Depends on how time works in a situation like that. They might just end up in another loop. The concept of an "observed future" brings in the Schodinger's Cat paradox, and since they're in a situation of such extremely warped spacetime, quantum gravity (however that works) is probably involved too. It'll be interesting to see what path the show takes!

This series does one of the best jobs of ever explaining the problem of temporal causality Loop. This explanation actually makes sense unlike a lot of the usual science fiction movie mumbo jumbo which actually tries to explain time issues., and actually ends up leaving you more confused than you were in the beginning. The more I watch this the more you keep pulling me back in just when I want to leave.... Now that's how you do science fiction.....!! And the cherry on top this is actually fun to watch
