Thank you! I love it when sci-fi is bright, warm, hopeful, and positive. I hate it that Sci-Fi is often gruesome, dystopian, and depressing.

So good. Suspended my disbelief. Felt like a real future. And the production was able to make it all happen at a light rail station? Remarkable.

WARNING! I thought it would be fun to get involved with the interactive part of this film. Like an idiot, I did the "Mars Mail" thing at the end and put in my phone number to get the text. I was remembering the good old days when "Lost" had an interactive element online that went along with the TV show, so I went for it. Now I have a ton of scam texts coming through where the sender acts like we know each other, or is saying my number is in their contacts but they cannot remember who I am, and is trying to get me to respond. I don't. One phone number hit me up 4 or 5 times trying to get me to respond before I blocked the number. I NEVER had these kinds of texts before I put my information in, and it started up within a couple of hours after I screwed up. DO NOT BE AN IDIOT LIKE ME! They sold my information. Thanks DUST &/or SPACE RABIT!

I've lived in Florida my whole life. When I went to college in Orlando, FL we could sit outside and watch the night launches of the space shuttle...they were so bright you could look away and see the shadow they cast on the ground, even from hundreds of miles away. Now I live on the FL gulf coast. The launches aren't as bright these days, but I can still look east and see the rocket plumes going up. They are the most powerful machines ever created by humanity, and I hope kids can see those launches and one day imagine themselves riding one of those into the sky.
@spacerabit Жыл бұрын
Thats awesome! I've never seen a rocket launch in person before. Definitely on my the bucket list. Honestly I get a bit emotional just watching live SpaceX launches, it's exciting to see!

The animated brochure is interesting. Many years ago, I had a similar dream, where I flipped through a short book and each page was animated. I also flew a kite that had animated stuff on it. But that could have been from TV. My memory of such things is strange lol. I know bendable electronics and displays is being worked on. I hope we do get such things in the future; but I think if such things existed back in the 80's and 90's, it might have been much more appreciated and wonderful.
