This would make an excellent full length feature film or an amazing series. I really got into the feelings of the characters and enjoyed the feel of the world created. I would like to see more of the storylines come to fruition, the series could be based on Kim assigning different roles each episode then you would watch the reassignment process and follow the path of each new person, but the kick is that Kim has placed the packet she was given on her bracelet and is now choosing the assignments at her own will going against the machine, the machine doesn’t know it’s been infected because Kim has reassigned the machine into another job and placed herself in its position. There could be conflict in the machine trying to convince everyone that there’s an error and try to uprise against Kim but nobody listens to it and by now Kim is too powerful to stop. Just an idea

These are exactly the concepts great sci-fi was envisioned to explore, but Hollywood too safe to take a risk and give it the green light. A truly innovative concept embodies this work, and as all great sci-fi propels, comes with a powerful warning when humankind strives to be privy to our own perfection. I applaud the film makers for taking the risk and having the drive to complete it as such, for it would make at least a fantastic one-off show of a memorable anthology series with potential to become a small, independent series given proper funding.

Well I haven't seen it mentioned in the comments yet so allow me to be the first: After you get past the great acting, the uncertainty of what the lead actress actually did re: her "choice" (did she reassign her boss to the job her "friend" wanted him to have, or did she leave him as her boss so that she could be with her boss) this story comes down to this: equality and individuality CAN'T coexist! Confusing? Yes.... Yes it is... But think about it: if everyone is treated equally...I mean 💯 percent equally, then there is no such thing as individuality... Everyone is part of a collective. Individuality means people have DIFFERENCES... Different means not the same as... Or not EQUAL! This short is an amazing film about the power of words! In less than 30 minutes, the writer and director have done more to explain why the world is the way it is today than ANY pundit, social commentator, politician, or educator alive today. Bravo! Makes me want to do a short analysis of the short itself as a way to revive my channel (which until now was just a hodgepodge of memes, goofy things, and whatnot). Again: Bravo 👏!

You have successfully crushed a political ideology that is widely held by absolutely no one. Even the furthest-left political ideologies seeking a form of equality of outcomes don't do so with the goal of oppressing people. They do it with the intention of mitigating the oppression that already exists in the society we have now. Remember: if the thing you fear requires sci- fi and not non-fiction as a genre, you're afraid of the wrong things.
