I went on a school trip to France back in the mid 90s. a french boy was betting all comers he could beat them at an arcade game double your bet winner stays on (50 franks bet win 100 Fr (10fr £1 $2 back then)) The game, killer instinct, his technique, orchid, cat - link - spin battons - link - flip kick , fire ball if you hold back He won a small fortune... Hold my beer! You can end a match with a fatality OR ultra combo, if you played the arcade game you know how loud “ULTRA COMBO” But If you flawless victory into ultra combo you can also end it with a fatality. It an ultimate and it’s louder!

Any species that considers themselves the ultimate hunter but can't figure out written language is not nearly as potent as they think they are. Pinball is indeed fun!!

that second one was cute. i bet he'll go on a seearch spree to look for more vintage stuff. or he could renew the industry and inspire them to make more of real physics mashines?

Why go through the trouble of developing a physics engine when you have the best one possible all around you?

My favorite pinball was 'Delta Queen.' Ah, the good old days...!

I don't even remember the name of the pinball I used to play at the local arcade/pool hall/bowling alley/skate rink, but since they had a little bit of everything, that place was THE spot to be when I was a kid. I think the game had a space theme, with an upper level and a lower level.

Too bad he couldn't find the old bowling machine with the metal hockey puck. I'd spend $20 a week on that puppy.

On the second story - agreed. Some old games beat hands down the newer video games.
