The second story is probably the type of story that when told to any nonhuman would scare the crap out of them, because we shrugged off a hit that should have killed us and are looking to return in kind.

I thought amperage, since a low current at high amperage can still kill, and by the time you get to high current that can kill even with low amperage, you'd have to worry more about melting/burning more than nerve damage.

When you hear the words "electromagnetic pulse" and start thinking of EMP, and then you remember in most media EMP's are used to temporarily shut down electronics, and so you start thinking if they are doing this to the whole world then GPS wouldn't work, and so no one would know where to go if they needed to go somewhere new, and that got me thinking of "but what if they rode their bikes" which would still get them lost and that lead me to think about a bike ride you went on with a friend and we used the GPS a lot cause it was a 20 mile bike ride and we got lost a lot which made you remember how horrible your sense of direction is and then you realized your thoughts had derailed so much that you have to think back to what you were originally thinking and then you realized you didn't hear what the video was saying from that point onward and so you have to go back and replay the electromagnetic pulse part

I've done this. We were drinking by a farmer's shed (There were three 70 yr olds with me drinking, At 30yrs 🤣🤣😄I was the almost sober driver) and I mentioned my lipoma's and carpal tunnels lets me touch electric fences. Richard Chillcot dared me to take my shoes off and grab a mains powered farm electric fence , so I did. My arm muscle was jumping like hell but I could still hold my beer and drink it.t Richard (70yrs) decided that his fence mustn't be working and grabbed me, he was trown 6 metres and even though he didn't swear he called me a BASTARD. Still laugh about it now.

Second story is wierd... so what if they disrupt some laws of nature to prevent nuclear fusion or EMP's I doubt they can enforce it at a molecular level on a entire planet so its probably entirely situational and we have a lot of technology that doesn't use nuclear power... rockets can use simple low power electronics which can be shielded and difficult to disrupt... etc.
@duanesamuelson22568 ай бұрын
Rockets can, and did, use totally mechanical guidance systems..V2's were the first. FROG's were/are just point and fire (free rocket over ground). Electronics just make it easier. The USAF for jets/bombers in the early 60's had pneumatic computers. There is always another way to do something if you don't get hung up on just one way. You want to design a connection system (like roads)? You can make a model and use a computer..or make a physical terrain model and use slime mold and have your answers in less time.
