I had sciatica in oct 2019 but i got relieved from pain after 4-5 months without any surgery with some excercises ..but sciatica left me numbness in my back of left buttock and as well back side of thigh to lower lateral two foot fingers. Its been 2 years and 5 months i still have numbness in left leg and i walk like trendalenburg gait..I hve no pain since 2.5 years but numbness..mri krwai thi S1 compress btaya tha..please meri numbness door krne me help karey. Im 35 years old and weight 82 kgs height 5.7 ft with no past medical history and no deleterious habits. Will my numbness go away and how much time it will take.. kindly do reply. Thanks

In excercise no 3 in the modified version, there is a pain around probably fibula bone when right leg is crossed over on left leg. The pain is in right leg where fibula.bone is. My calf are okay.

If the pain is just a stretch pain ,then I think it is not a thing to be worry about ...but if the pain is sharp then avoid this exercise for some time and then start again after some days

@@KDPhysio i am having this pain for very long time. No one is able to understand it. My sciatica is also on right leg. Sometimes rather rarely I get this pain while walking and always when raising leg more than 60 deg while lying down. Any cure ?

The Sciatica pain also travels on lateral side of leg that is on the fibula bone ,so it must be Sciatica pain only ...you can try muscle release on that side from upwards to downwards ...

Hello Doc., very useful tips in a simple manner...liked very much. I am 6ft. Had been a patient of siatica nerve (due to L4-S5) in 2011 for 3yrs. Got treatment. It is good enough though. I am in a sitting job. ..for last 2days...I felt that my pelvic tilt is imbalance due to which m unable to move my right knee upwards. Bt by doing ur exercise in this vedio through step 1...I got relief 10-20% immediately...bt m not able to do step 3 even due to severe pelvis tilt. My q is whether I should move both knees towards my chest or one leg to another. Looking for ur valuable comments or exercise pl..?

Thanku....I guess you are asking for the third stretch which is the pirifromis stretch ...so have shown two exercises for that particular stretch ,if the second one seems difficult for you ,you can skip that and just try the first one in which only one leg is bought towards the opposite side...let me know if any confusion you have

@@KDPhysio Thanks for ur prompt reply Doc..(Read sciatica and L4 S1 pls).. understood...bt I am still not able to move my right leg up during standing position (except not for more than 25 degrees) ... And during lay down position while doing exercise...I have to put my thumb (on upper thigh joint area) deep to press femoral nerve and only then I can pull my leg towards my chest...is right way of doing this ? (Coz for d first time I am feeling this nerve pain instead of sciatica which earlier went through my back buttouck then thigh and then knee joint up to foot)...ur comments or suggestions pls..??

Glad it helped you ...Yes you can do brisk walk as long as you are comfortable but be careful your spine should be straight when you walk and should not bend forward

Yes …you can do in the morning…no warm up is required.. 2-3 times a day would be enough

Hi gd morning mam,mam i am Ravinder thakur from,mam mere ko sep 2019 me Rt knee me problem ho geyi thi doctor ne bola ki apke ghutno me gap h.mene Exercise ki or medicine li baad check karwaya to doctor ne bola ki ab kafi thik h but mam baad me Rt knee me halki.si sujan aa geyi wo abi tak bhi h.ab mere iske saath calf muscle pain both of leg or thip dard suru ho geya.mene last yr Rt knee ka MRI karwaya usme report thik h.but Rt muscle ka thoda.sa issue aaya tha,mere pass apka no ya E mail nhi h nhi to me apko MRI ki report forward karta.mam ab mere ko calf muscle ,thip muscle kafi jayada ho.raha h shubha morning time par back pain bhi hota h.mam calf musle bhut jayada hota h.so i request for u plzzz suggest to me ,what i do????? Mam plzzz send E mail taki me Apko apni MRI ki report bhej saku.

Running se pain badh sakta hai...walking ya mild jogging kr sakte hai lekin usme bhi har thode der se baith ke 1-2 min ka break lena hai..agar phr bhi pain badhta he then u should stop for some days

थोड़ा चालने के बाद पेहले पा मे झान झा हाट उर शून्य पन होते है। वाद मे हालका दर्द होता हे। वेठने से आराम मिलता हे। का कारे?

MRI krwane me koi nuksaan nhi he...isse pata chl jaege ke kitna severe he Aur disc konse direction me nikli he ...exercise continue rkhe ..raat ko sone se phle bhi kr skte he...Aur dard jyada ho to exercise se phle thoda garam paani se sek kr le
