@Pheonix red does your brain truly race 10000 miles an hour? I thought it was largely based on your mental state. If you're paranoid and have a bad trip sure, but under good circumstances I was under the assumption it had a calming and slowing effect. They even talked about neural pathways that are more of a scenic route, not direct point to point connections.
