To make it a bit harder, replace the rest periods with jumping jacks and do 5 push ups with each burpee or 5 with the first burpee and continue to add 5 more with each additional burpee. End the work out with a 1 minute plank and a 1 minute side plank on both sides. Repeat this circuit for 3-5 sets after it gets easy.

A few things I can personally recommend are: Vrikshasan, yoga namaskar, elbow plank, high(hand) plank, pavanmukthasan... After a few weeks, if you feel comfy, you can add Hanuman dand and Hanuman baithak... I trust nothing more is needed to be fit as a fiddle as age advances.

@@sachinmakhijaips forget diets. They are no good despite you initially lose some weight. They are hard to follow and stop working after you lose 5 kg. Eat everything except poisons like sugar and food and drinks that contain a lot of sugar like sweets and don't consume alcohol. Otherwise you can eat everything by following few simple rules. 1.Eat at least 4 meals per day, even better is 5. 2.The largest meals should be historically normal size that is about half of what is regarded as "normal" size today. Use small plates like large desert plates. 3. Don't eat 3 hours between meals. Not even a single bite. You can just drink water or tea during that time. First few meals you will feel half empty but in 3 days your stomach will shrink so much that lunch half the size of current lunch will make you feel full. You can expect to slowly lose weight. I was losing around 5 kg per month so in 4 months I lost 20 kg.

You can’t compare oranges to apples. The exercise is good and it will give you some ‘explosion’ movements but 45 min of jogging will give you more stamina. It’s just like saying to train 100m dash to run a marathon. You will probably fail.

@ababbit74612 жыл бұрын
James Thomas, the DI's made you do mountain climbers so that you scuffed the toes of your boots, when you got tired. That way you had something to do before bedtime = shine those boots and make that toe look good... As a former PT instructor for my company and a former Drill SGT (US Army), I loved the 8 count burpee followed by slow, hold in place, "keep those heads up" push ups!!! Oh those days where the Captain was at the back of the company doing push ups while I "talked" while all were in the "Front leaning Rest Position." And yes, I did 100 push ups when I got up in the morning and 100 push ups before bedtime at night and some days, another 100 after lunch...

Good warm up (ok maybe a little too long) but If you want to live as healthy and as long as possible, grow some balls (that means you too ladies) and learn how and start working your way up to heavy weights. Squats, deadlifts, chin-ups, overhead press, bench press or dips, bent over rows, and something for abs and calves. Sure, add some cardio on off days but you get pretty good cardio from weights if you push to almost failure like you’re supposed to. Muscle mass into your later years is the key.

Oh yeah, well the guys who normally follow this advice are called body builders, and all of us know that they dont live healthy or long either. I'd suggest living a well balanced life and a cool head instead.

Awesome video champ! But to be honest, you can't compare 5 minutes of weight-free exercise to 45 minutes of jogging. It is impossible to burn more calories in just 5 minutes.
This workout works 💯 % I lost 10 kg in just 2 months only doing this exercises I included a little bit strength exercise as well and now I feel more and more fit

Well, like everything you do, you just have to start off doing it slow, and then build up your stamina. Someone who is out of shape wouldn’t be able to run for 45 minutes.

@@ChetanPatil91 Add weights too. 😁 I can't have ankle weight due to my jacked up knees, but I still have weights strapped to my wrists and will toss around some plate weights or dumbbells doing these. The simplest moves can make a big difference if you utilize them right. Will you get ripped? More than likely not, but it wakes up your body and gets muscles forming and make you more taunt.
