There are thousands of people world wide working in roles for private companies transcribing audio and training machine learning technology, engineers apply ‘rules’ for these transcribers/graders to apply, to train the AI - these rules have been decided by humans within this company - influenced by the foreign policy of that companies country aka USA that’s why many questions eg Palestine etc are not complete/uninformed/generic etc So it’s not true to say that this machine learning data is generated by people online, when it comes to actual software and AI apps etc - companies and their govts are making decisions in relation to this Non AI example airbnb having places to rent in occupied illegal settlements in the west bank - whilst Iranian people cannot ever use it/even when abroad due to US sanctions on Iran, Or how Google erased Palestine from Google Maps and instead has it listed as Israel
