It was built by a Chola king (a Tamil king). Chozhas (CHOLAS) are of pure Tamil orgin, from Tamilnadu, India. They reached through sea, by using boats or ships. Search for the Chozha empire in internet. CHOLAS maintained there empire in Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Cambodia, and even more countries to east of TamilNadu, India. Also another Tamil kingdom PANDYAS travelled to the Korean peninsula. A pandiyan (pandya) princess is still being worshipped as God in South Korea.
