BECAUSE OF YOU I UNDERSTOOD THIS! i failed my first chem because the prof was horrible at teaching. now i am taking the class again with a diff professor and he's very good however, i am a very slow learner-this helped so much! thank you :)

Ur prof is not really horrible at teaching he just have to make his teaching fast because there are more lessons or subjects to come and come to think of it if ur prof have more time to explain im sure you will understand it hes just fasting it up.

Why cant you be my chem teacher. My real one is about 70 and talks like a dry bag. Im sorry but its hard to understand and gets really boring in her class. This vid did a great job in helping me understand Scientific notation

3:15 , you can not have commas that separate every three numbers in the decimals. the commas can be used when there is a number in the thousands for example: 1,000. You can put a comma here because its in the thousands. and so on. but you ca not put a comma in the same way but in the decimals for example: 0.123,435,523. the commas cannot be used here. I am not a 100% sure on this one but thats what i think.

At 3:11, why the commas? And why did you place them where you did?

commas are commonly used with large numbers because there are usually too many zeros
