He (or she) is the best; others have perhaps few excellent and few average stories; his (or her) stories are always (and all I have till now read, seems without exception) excellent. This is a short story, written as short story, with the perfect lenght of a short story. The story has a very good idea/background, a short and good start and a perfect end (so it is not a long story shortened, a very short story/idea prolonged or a story just cut out as part of a very long story/book (so as example, the story of a single battle of a 600 page book). This is a short story, written as a short story.

This reads like something from Schlock Mercenary. And yeah, if Tagon or any of the Toughs heard someone like this guy, they'd have demanded higher hazard pay...then done the job once the check cleared despite the risks. Because that's what you have to do in their line of work. Mind, they would have made sure it was just as painful for the client as it was for them. Maxim 49, Every Client is one missed payment away from becoming a Target.
