Its stories like this that makes me wonder why Hollywood are constantly remaking things instead of searching for new materials.

Remakes and sequels are low risk. The material is already known to be liked, so there's a built-in audience. That's why they feel safe blowing hundreds of millions of dollars on each show/movie. New material means risk, people may or may not like it, and the big studios have grown too fat and risk averse to try that.

for this type of story its very good. you might look for murderbot diaries or red rising - read by sonny burton. or the weekly stories by p.e. rowe to name 3. there are many others too, but there is a lot of crap out there too. btw pe rowe puts out a story every thursday. or a chapter in an on going stpry. he writes it. reads it ,and even makes his own thumbnails. give him a shot 1st. amazing guy. also teaches writing.

@MrIzzyDizzy tried red rising a few times just can't get into it. Don't know why should be exactly what I like
@MrIzzyDizzy7 ай бұрын
idk - The sonny burton version is the better one i think, But. id give it a rest try it again sometime later. That can make a difference. Other good YTubers are Gerald Kilby, Craig A Falconer, LARS, Lyssa Dream and the Sentience Wars saga on Aeon 14 channel. Also ASN - agro squirrel narrates. with his non stop scifi radio. and other stories. and others. Also DUST - for some good low budget videos. There is a lot of good stuff, but eventually the really good stuff will dry up unfortunately. Some gets removed too.

Ignore the converter sites that just spam alternating DL site pages in a Mobius Loop of spam links, or try to force you to install some sort of app, windows fix or dake page warning. and ignore those which ask for details or membership logins, ..all those ones are definite criminal laundering/phishing scam sites.

When the story continues, I'd like an aside with Wyatt approaching Jincho asking him if Jincho and his team could design a special two/three seat fighter/escape craft that would carry Clara, Cynthia and either Wyatt or another pilot to safety in the event of the Noir Navea being boarded. Wyatt's instructions would be to make the fighter the fastest, most heavily armed craft in its class. Jincho would take the instructions as a challenge and immediately go to work with his team. Secretly Wyatt intends to teach both Cynthia and Clara to fly the new escape fighter. While Clara immediately takes to flying the little craft, Cynthia proves less adept at flying. Clara treats the small nimble craft as a personnal gift from Wyatt and Jincho, Her very own fighter which Wyatt names Reaper's Blade.

This is for the author and not specifically the channel. I've read a lot of sci-fi, like, a lot. I read around 100 books a year, from the classics to the more obscure stuff. So your story needs a little polish and a bit of rework from the help a literary agent, not for content but to help with flow and wording and stuff. That being said, the story content and plot are among some of the best I've heard/read. You should be working with an agent to get this book published by Saint Martin's Press. That's super hard in the sci-fi genre so here we are. I hope you keep writing, because you have a true talent.

Even the slow parts are so well written that it still kept my interest. I kept finding myself going, "This last 30 seconds was stupid and mundane... why did I like it anyway?" It's largely just.. well written. Enough so you lose yourself. At first I HATED the voice for this one but I quickly forgot about it altogether. It IS worth it.
