Scion Tc Steering Wheel Install

What's going on you guys here is a video of me replacing my stock steering wheel to a grip royal aftermarket steering wheel. if you buy the short hub the horn will not work but I will later make a video of how to make the horn work. Hope you enjoy the video.

Dont forget that you're suppose to wait minumum 10 min after disconnecting the battery so u don't set off the air bag by accident

I got a T30 screwdriver and I’m finding it difficult to even twist or loosen the T30 bolts~ any suggestions?

bro i have the same set up. how did you line up the grip royal with nrg hub and qr. im having problem with centering of grip royal steering wheel

On the Nrg hub for the Tc is crooked so you have to face the nrg logo facing down and a little to the left side. If you go to www.griproyal.com they just came out with the solution to getting the nrg logo to face up. It's a spacer. So I would Line up the nrg logo up and then you put the spacer and then you line up the steering wheel and it will all be perfect. Let me know if this helped if not I'll try to explain better.

I just wanted to say you've got a fire tC that I love. You are also very good at tutorials. I did my interior like yours about 2 years ago except red, and im just now doing some updates. hey man for some reason my steering wheel is rubbing against the plastic cover behind it and making a scraping sound. Any suggestions?

Is it actually the steering wheel that's rubbing, or the hub is what's rubbing?

The steering wheel is making scratch marks on the plastic cover behind it. So I think its the wheel itself.

If you don't have the spacer that grip royal just came out with then you should have it like me. On the hub right now the Nrg logo is facing down and one hole to the left. Then the quick release is placed perfectly centered. Remember to make sure your tires are aligned straight and your steering wheel is straight as your taking it off.
