For those of you who made it to the end, thank you. I never thought pointing a cellphone at myself in a car would feel so scary, I spent a long time contemplating including it or not (or even attempting to say anything at all in the first place). It is one of many reasons why it has been a rough year, but I am glad I did because it was cathartic and honest. Hopefully it gives some insight into my general appearance and my sluggish posting schedule, and where my head has been recently. Hopefully it shows those of you out there who need to hear it that there is someone out there who cares and is thinking about you. Everyday is a new day, and everyday there is a chance for change. Climbing is therapeutic to me, but sometimes that isn't enough. If you need to talk to someone or ask for help, do it. Reach out to loved ones, professionals, or both. ❤

I'm sorry about the loss of your friend. I'm sure he is proud that you donated your hair in his honor. Maybe a kid out there is headbanging with your donation. Also great climbing, and glad to see the pup out there

Climbing and the pup are 2 of the 3 things that help keep my head in check. He will be missed, but never forgotten. Thanks!

Beautiful. I knew exactly what you were going to say when you were talking about not wanting to let go of your hair - as if it was kind of his last attachment for you. Beautiful way to send a goodbye to your friend and to your hair 🤍

Beautiful tribute and gesture for your friend. Thank you for sharing. I heard some of this from you personally and I remember you talking about working on this video. I think your friend is very proud of your hair and head banging skills you learned from him. Ps. I just cut my long hair yesterday and I immediately want to grow it back out!!

I definitely sometimes miss those locks. I guess it is a bit of the grass is greener type of scenario. I am already in need of a haircut (or maybe I should grow it out again!? haha). Thanks for the kind words. He still would have tried to take me down a few notches for the hair, but deep down I know he would have thought it was sick. Glad you appreciated the tribute, and thanks again.
