It’s his size, if he was 6’8 he would have actually challenged Victor for the 1st pick. Teams don’t care about who your competition is, once you get to college, g league, or over seas, it’s all the same. Can you shoot, can you play defense, can you pass, do you have handles, are you long, are you fast, can you jump high, and do you have size. If you are missing even one’s of these things you are gonna drop in the draft in the top 3. Honestly feel like Brandon Miller was the right pick for Charlotte, but that’s just me. I’m a Mavs fan so im very familiar with a two generational offensive guard tandem with no defense. Talent in a team needs to be spread out and stars need to do different things to be effective. I would of picked Brandon Miller to.

Scoot Henderson an elite scoring/playmaking guard that can play the 1 and 2 because of his big size, he's similar to a Ja Morant/ Donovan Mitchell type guard but with better defense 🔥

I noticed Dame in the thumbnail but he wasn't on your list in the intro. Why didn't you mention that he had one of the best point guard rookie seasons ever and won ROY? I see scoot taking the same patch now that Dame has asked to be traded, Scoot should get the start and be in the running for ROY if he stays healthy.

Dame was unanimous ROY. Insane abilities. I hope Scoot turns out as good (but with defense, LOL). Granted, they're different players. Scoot has some range, but he's not really a shooter. He relies on the floater too much.

The focus was on teenage point guards coming in. Dame was a 4 yr college player. I so hoped they both could play together.

@@danmacmillan5114 That would have been good. Dame was a mentor for Ant, but Ant isn't developing as much as I would have hoped. It might be a drive issue. He's a great shooter and has been blessed with incredible athleticism, but he doesn't crash the boards or drive to the bucket like Dame does. It's too bad Dame won't be there to help develop Scoot's game.

The G League point is an interesting topic to me. Should more guys should consider it out of HS? I see so many young prospects who weren’t drafted that high pop off there, and it makes me wonder.
