I travel on the bus in a supposedly afflient city in northwest Indiana ,I see homeless and mentally ill on a daily basis . Many of the homeless are in such pain and duress its heartbreaking 💔 😢 They have no place to sleep

That’s their choice. There are many places to sleep, they just don’t want to follow the rules or give up their drug habit. It’s sad but true. Everyone makes sacrifices for the common good, because we live together in a society. I don’t know why they should be exempt, and are allowed to do sleep wherever, do whatever, and take over public spaces. I’ve seen homeless people having sx on the sidewalk in front of kids, doing drugs out in the open, ride in crowded buses with severe viral skin infections, defecating in the middle of the sidewalk. This isn’t good for anyone or society in general. We have to make some tough choices and give these people some tough love.
