Had my Raleigh Motus for around 5 weeks and only discovered it had other functions by accidently changing from KPH to MPH this morning, which triggered me to google for further info. I'd literally only been using the speed settings as per the default screen. I'm very happy to learn of these additional functions. Hello, that depends on what exactly you mean by "used". If you mean the Purion 200, then the Bosch eBike Flow app will be used for everything smart system moving forward with the upcoming Purion 200 being a part of that ecostystem. The app will offer updates and configuration options for the Purion 200. Hope that helps!

Trust me if you have the eMTB setting on your bike have it taken off and replaced with SPORT mode. The eMTB mode makes you work harder to go slower, probably the exact opposite of what you would expect and want from an electrically assisted bike. On a 12 mile circuit around and up one of my local hills with eMTB setting on I recorded 43 minutes, with this setting removed and replaced by SPORT I did the same run in 37 minutes. So having eMTB on your bike will make you around 20% slower. Great work Bosch!

If you followed the instructions on how to engage the walk assist and lights and they don’t work, then you are correct that the dealer will need to activate these for you via the Bosch dealer software

This is a default setting. Press the "-" button for 2-3 seconds to cycle through the modes until you see "Trip". Once on that screen you can press the "+ & -" buttons together to do a reset back to "0"

I have this system on my Cannondale Quick NEO EBike. Display is easy to read and use. I did a lot of research, checked out bikes, and the Bosch system came out the best. Very satisfied with my bike and have ridden 9000 km so far. Cannondale now only offer rear wheel drive on touring bikes sold in Oz. A backward step. The assistance level should be on all the time, not just when you are changing the assistance level. I have guess what level the assistance is on by the range left in battery.

The Bosch mid drive system does not permit adding a throttle to the system. The bikes are all pedal assist only.

Hello i got a ebike with bosch cx gen 4 and the bike had a really cheap and weak headlight. So I got a new Lezyne power pro e115. But the light dont look as strong as pictures and videos from other people who have the same light. Does this have to be fixed in the software? I got purion same as in this video.

Hello, this is not really something that we can really assist with. The light is 310 lumens and can handle either 6 volts or 12 volts. Suggest reaching out to your retailer where the light was purchased from to see. The Gen 4 output is 12 volts so this is the max output for the light.

This means that the dealer has set the display to be always on. To disable this the dealer will need to connect their software to the bike to allow it to turn on/off manually

Hello David. With the Purion system you will not be able to use the Bosch APP. This APP will only work with the Kiox and Nyon systems. The 2 connected displays are available as standard equipment on some ebikes. Hello Dwayne. Great comments! Please find the answers to your questions; 1- For the lights if you are pressing the “+” button for 3 seconds and lights don’t turn “ON” or “OFF” then you will need to bring your bike into the shop as the dealer configured the lights to remain “ON” at all times. This is a feature that can be customized via the Bosch dealer software as some folks prefer to have their lights on all the time. 2- For switching between MPH and KPH is super easy. With the display on, press the “-“ and then the “On/Off” buttons together and this will change the unit measurements. Hope this helps,

@@SCOOTERETTI Thanks for the tips! I can turn the lights off using your tip on one Madeo, but not on the T10+. Annoying! I would like to watch more videos on the Gazelle line. For example, handlebar changes (I'm not in love with the swept bars) and options to deal with length of cable, wires and hose if a change is made . Also some simple dimensions like seat posts, seat post quick release options. Actual recommendations on type and all important size would be great. Thanks for your video, it was helpful! Oh, the ETMB setting, was that missed by the dealer as well?

Great question. Depending on which display you have you can either do this yourself or for a display like the Purion, you will need to have your dealer do this for you. Check your owners manual as to whether your display allows you to change this yourself.

Flashing lights will be dependent if the lights have this feature built in. The Bosch system simply supplies power to the lights. The circuit board in the light is what permits a flash mode. Check with the light manufacturer’s website to see if the model of light you have has this feature built in.
