Problem is it can't be too new, has to be at least older than 3 yrs for there to have been enough time to age in barrels. But yeah maybe there's one that's right at 4-5yrs old that would be a good one to taste

I do think it would be interesting to try finished whiskies and the port or rum that came from the finishing barrel. Just to see what flavors made it through the barrel to the whiskey.

Yes, 100% refilling the shelf. It’s hard for me to get, so I figured I would help refill the shelf in the vault. Oh and their distillery tour is so so good, definitely a must go when in LA and when COVID is over.

This was actually the first whiskey I ever had. My friend bought it for my birthday, and for years I thought I hated whiskey!

Back in 95 I had just turned 21 was going to the beach with some friends I knew nothing about scotch, never had it before and I was poor I bought a bottle of Scoresby. Up to that point I only had bourbons that people had around at parties or I paid people to get something. There was no youtube to educate me on the good stuff and it took another 15 years before I gave scotch a try again.

My cousin bought me a bottle of Scoresby last year for Christmas. I bought one of those small personal aging barrels and threw it in there. I tried it yesterday after aging it for another year in oak and saw your video today! SUPER weird! Still sucks.

Can you do comparison of Jameson Caskmates Stout edition - old vs new one? I've read on internet that they've changed the sticker from white-black to full black at some point, and some people report change in taste. I only have the newer one, and I'm curious if it's worse than first bottles.

Guys you really need to try the Lost Spirits Rum. The Navy Style 61 is the best spirit Lost Spirits has on offer hands down. I have tried everything they make. I know your Whisky guys but the Rum is so good. That said all the spirits at Lost Spirits need to be in a Decanter for at least two weeks to be drinkable.

Corryvreckan is by far my favorite Ardbeg, but I'd argue the AnOa is further away from it than the 10. The AnOa is so much sweeter/syrupy/medicinal than anything else I have had from them. The AnOa is still Islay but far from the meaty/full spread dinner that the Corryvreckan is; its much more of a dessert scotch

@@robgeach8105 so I didn't taste or smell Band-Aids but I could just not know cause that was my first bottle. But I smell the peat and smoke and saltyness but not bandades or iodine ( I haven't smelled iodine in awhile) but I'm going to get more and see..
