I just got my AT960 and wouldn't dream of gluing that mirror to it. But then I don't check my makeup while I'm riding. LOL!!!

Great intro to new helmet and really appreciate all the extra DIY info you provide on all your videos. Can’t wait for the Knox armor review and modifications video. Very curious if find it too restrictive compared to the Leatt gear. I’m on the fence for what to get for hot summer riding.

Duf seems to love that armor, and he lives in hot/sticky Florida 😅

I love my Leatt armor. Probably will still be my first choice for hot weather

Wouldn't ride in heavy rain with the hole cut on the side. Do not know why they went with this design, knowing most people will have different Bluetooth devices installed, I think Scorpion made a bad decision with this new design.

I just bought a Scorpion EXO AT-960 and Cardo PackTalk Edge system. I’m so glad you made your video. Brilliant idea to use Scorpion’s comm port. I also loved the idea to use Velcro as well. Have you had any problems with the Velcro? Thanks again for the video…!
@DawnSChampion Жыл бұрын
Thank you!! No problems with the Velcro. I did that the whole time with all my helmets and never a problem.

Nice helmet and it looks like it has a lot of flat surfaces on which to mount lights. I like a helmet-mounted light because it's easy to aim at and get the attention of other road users that may not be paying attention. The last helmet I bought, an LS2, has almost no flat surfaces on which to mount things. I won't miss the carburetors 😆 (previous 2 vids).

Pro-tip: The best way to remove hot-glue bonds is alcohol. Lightly apply with a dropper at the seam you’d like to separate and 99% alcohol will suck into the joint by capillary action and release the parts. Old glue, that is now only stuck to one side, is reusable or just add more to the surface to re-attach. {Use as much alcohol as is needed; in the Autobody business they just poor it on for expediency.}

Hi there, thanks for sharing your video. Your helmet looks really good and also with that purple visor. I just bought the Scorpion ADX-2 Camino helmet but with a clear visor. Can you tell me where you bought your purple visor? Thank you in advance for your response.

Im seriously considering this helmet, but the version with the mouth isolation (its probably gonna be for the colder months since its bound to be hot). But how air tight is the visor? Ive seem mention that the visor has a gaps, especially at the top end.
@DawnSChampion Жыл бұрын
I don't understand that. I don't feel like there are gaps. Love this helmet and the 950 ..

I almost forgot : how is the wind noise? I have a pretty bad tinnitus and I get headaches the next day if i dont put earplugs while riding my bell super dh (very open design).
@DawnSChampion Жыл бұрын
@@mattca353 I haven't noticed bad wind noise. But I'm used to motorcycle helmets and wind noise at 100+mph, and wearing ear plugs if I need to. I don't wear ear plugs with this helmet on the EUC

Dawn, if you take one of your older Lu-see-gu-see mirror arms, a repair that will reduce vibration is as follows: 1) use a sharpie to mark you preferred orientation of the mirror by drawing a line across and perpendicular to all the junctions along the arm apparatus. 2) one piece at a time, open each ball/socket joint and lightly stretch {as gently as possible} a piece of nitrile glove over the ball, then re-couple the joint with nitrile in between surfaces. Then cut away excess with a razor blade and repeat. The arm will be stiff but still adjustable, and vibration is severely dampened. 😮😬🥺…😎 If you number the pieces, then complete disassembling is possible without losing your armature’s preferred positioning. {As always, it’s okay ignore unsolicited advice but maybe this will help someone else add to the idea.}. Got any used arms for sale?😅

Why do you talk so much about that stupid mirror nobody ever uses. You should talk more about the helmet.
