This song is living breathing proof that a hard rock/heavy metal song delivers its assault with all of it's jackhammer riffs, anthemic vocals, flashy guitar solos, ramming bass and epic stage showmanship but can still have catchy hooks and pop type sensibility that even non rockers and metalheads would untie whatever hair they have and get air guitarring and headbanging away to it. These German heavy rock gladiators are absolute songwriting geniuses.

Scorpions are a band whose musical style has always been juxtaposed between hard rock and heavy metal. This song has all of the hallmarks that make heavy metal what it is: savage but catchy riffs, flashy guitar solos, shouting vocals, grand choruses and an overall sense of darkness and foreboding (because metal is drawn from a minor and diminished source such as scales/modes)

The bitch is hungry, she needs to tell So give her inches and feed her well More days to come, new places to go I've got to leave, it's time for a show Here I am Rock you like a hurricane Here I am Rock you like a hurricane My body is burning, it starts to shout Desire is coming, it breaks out loud Lust is in cages till storm breaks loose Just have to make it with someone I choose The night is calling, I have to go The wolf is hungry, he runs the show He's licking his lips, he's ready to win On the hunt tonight for love at first sting Here I am Rock you like a hurricane (Are you ready, baby?) Here I am Rock you like a hurricane Here I am Rock you like a hurricane (Come on, come on, baby) Here I am Rock you like a hurricane Rock you like a hurricane It's early morning, the sun comes out Last night was shaking and pretty loud My cat is purring, it scratches my skin So what is wrong with another sin? The night is calling, I have to go The wolf is hungry, he runs the show He's licking his lips, he's ready to win On the hunt tonight for love at first sting Here I am Rock you like a hurricane (Are you ready, baby?) Here I am Rock you like a hurricane Here I am Rock you like a hurricane (Come on, come on, come on, come on) Here I am Rock you like a hurricane

One of the easiest yet most badass riffs ever in my opinion. If this doesn't get you going, nothing will.

@@HKA-Rendition Good guess, but nope! It's a meme in the guitar world that the iconic opening riff of Smoke On The Water by Deep Purple is where every guitarist starts from!

This song is a classic rock anthem that never gets old.The Scorpions deliver a powerful performance with catchy riffs, soaring vocals, and explosive drums. The lyrics are full of passion and energy, capturing the thrill of love and lust.Rock you like a hurricane is the best song from the 80s.
