SCOTLAND: Isle of Skye- Episode 6

We woke up at an AirBnB that was right next to a gorgeous loch, spent the day exploring an enchanting Isle of Skye, and had a perfect end of the day: a stunning sunset at Niest Point Lighthouse.

Definitely, a place I am curious to visit. I love the rugged coastline and lush green mountains. Nice views from the hike. Ha I remember my first cuckoo bird call too, so amazing. OMG baby sheep skipping!

I was totally in love with the baby lambs! and they were everywhere! I just couldnt get over it! I was awesome to hear the cuckoo! When I finally realized what I was hearing I got so excited! I spent the next part of our hike with my phone in my hand, trying to catch a recording of the cuckoo bird calling without wind or people talking in the background :-) And the hike was so gorgeous. I just loved everything about it!

Scotland's landscapes remind me a little of Iceland. I need to go here!! Is it relatively easy driving in Scotland? I'm a little scared because I have to get used to driving on the other side... That looked like an incredible hike too! How long did it take you to make it to the top (I think you said it was a loop trail?) and was it pretty strenuous?

Oh it is so gorgeous! I wasnt the one driving, but from what my friend said, it sounds like it takes a little getting used to at first, but after the first day, the only time she really had to think about it was when we were turning right or left. The hike was amazing! it is a loop, but we didnt have time to do the whole loop because we still had a few things we wanted to see that day (plus we kept stopping to take pictures! it was so gorgeous!). The part that we did wasnt super strenuous, but it did have a lot of ups and downs (by the end of the day, my fit bit said I had climbed 96 sets of stairs!)
