Scotland Road Trip in our Tiny Van | Isle of Skye & NC500 |

Van Life Vlog in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 | We took the ferry from Ireland to Scotland & made a beeline for the famous Isle of Skye. The combination of snow & pastel colour skies against the panoramic backdrop at the top of The Old Man of Storr, made for one of our favourite Scotland memories. ​ Driving the North Coast 500 route (NC500) made up the next part of our trip. The drive is famed for being one of the world's most epic road trips and it certainly lived up to the hype. We were treated to lochs, castles, mountains, wild & rugged landscapes, highland cows & reindeer. Comment below and let us know your favourite part. Jits Into The Sunset - Tania & Adam Hi Tania and Adam, What was my favorite part?? Oh my, that is a difficult question, because I was in love with everything! One place that definitely stands out are the Fairy Pools on Skye. Well, anything on Skye! We spent two nights in a lovely, somewhat remote Airbnb, where we walked to a local cafe and saw a gorgeous sunset. Both of us being vegan, I was so pleasantly surprised to find healthy vegan cafes and/or items in most places. We had delicious vegan haggis at the Ben Nevis Inn, which I have recreated here at home. (Massachusetts). Then there was the Talisker distillery...:) Coral Beach was amazing, too. We took the three Isles tour and Staffa was breathtaking! I even accidentally got myself in a KZbin video at Kilchurn Castle. :) The incredible architecture of the cities like Glasgow and Edinburgh are unbelievable. We don't have that history in the US, of course. But I loved every bit of where we visited. It was a visceral connection. I think I must have been Scottish in a past life. I do have that ancestry on one side of my family. I would move there if it were possible. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to write this. I could go on but it would be a novel! Did the NC500 last Sept-Oct (with a few diversions, like two nights down the tip of Kintyre). Absolutely wonderful people, gorgeous scenery. Am still there really, in my head. Our day at Dunnet was grey and hammering with rain so didn’t hang around, would loved to have seen more of the birds. Stayed on a harbour wall one night at Kinlochbervie, woke up to a seal outside. Also trying to sleep near Loch Maree and hearing the calls of horny deer all around, all night. Kept the door locked that night! Crazy. Absolutely unforgettable trip. Scotland, I envy you.

I loved this video so much. I knew Scotland was beautiful but the cinematography in this is incredible also paired with really intentional and thoughtful music choices. You guys make such good decisions when it comes to what you share. This video almost made me cry! I've been to Isle of Sky like 10 years ago and haven't got a chance to go back. I was planning a trip back to Scotland in 2020 but had to cancel it because of the obvious reason. This video brings back so many memories and I cannot wait to pack and go when the pandemic is over (God knows when it's gonna be, hopefully soon). Thank you for this video, I absolutely love it!

I'd watched this video before, but rewatching it now and seeing these masterfully captured landscapes (your videography really is out of this world!) makes me understand why the Scots are so fiercely proud of their country, history and heritage. We just bought a VW camper van so for a few months now we’ve been ploughing through all the motorhome videos on KZbin.. So we have seen a LOT. Saw this tonight and was bowled over by the standard of camera and video work. Some of the shots I simply don’t know how you achieved unless you had a 3rd party operating drones etc ? Truly exceptional visuals, and for that (at the risk of sounding like somebody on Dragon’s Den) I’m in. Subscribed. Excellent.

We have travelled The Highlands and Islands in our *then* MH and loved it mainly wild camped only going on a campsite to charge up the electrics, give the van a good clean & get a shower do laundry if needed.
