Oh I know it was probably a little strange leaving New York after having been surrounded by all that kinetic energy. The city never sleeps and there is so many things going on around you...BUT, like you say, Scotland is beyond beautiful, It has a magical quality and the history is palpable. I would choose the peaceful beauty of Scotland over any place on earth. You are truly blessed.

Before audio started, was wondering how you were doing with being back from NYC... And now you've discovered this glorious spot in your "backyard"! You might yearn for NYC (or other spots for that matter), Shaun, and this just proves occasionally all you have to do is click your heels together, three times, while repeating, "There's no place like home, there's no place like home..." (you know, like Dorothy 😉), and it'll get you through the day. Take it from a woman who grew up as a military/foreign service kid, and 30 year Flight Attendant retiree. I really miss Scotland, Shaun, so thanks for sharing yet another grand location!!

HI Shaun, Thanks for taking us to that wonderful place ! It's almost cathedral like . The rocks cubed like they are, where any of those purposely made that way for a old mill back in the day? Usually around a falls like that inhabitants settled naturally around things like that for water. Absolutely beautiful , glad you went swimming. That was way to inviting to not take advantage of that natural wonder . When you get back to New York, look into a lot of the Gorges New York has. Letchworth (referred to as the Grand Canyon of the East), Watkins Glenn, Taughannock Falls ,Lower and Upper Falls on the Genesee River in Rochester. Also a interesting natural wonder is Howe Caverns . Thanks again for sharing this wonderful place, when I get to Scotland, I will ask for this secret location and bring my bug spray .

Wow!! That magnificent. I can't wait to just take all of it in when we visit. I love that 24/75 degrees is a heat wave for you guys. That would be perfect cool spring weather here. I'm glad you are getting out and enjoying it. I was just in Las Vegas and it was 45/113 degrees in desert heat. Blech.

Fantastic video, this place is mystical! It reminds me of a place in NC, I live in the upstate of South Carolina, about an hour's drive to Western North Carolina. I've been going there most of my life, there are beautiful waterfalls everywhere. My favorite place is a small town named Highlands, it was once a very unique and peaceful place to "get away" but now it is more commercial. We still enjoy it, many places to hike and enjoy. My kids go rock climbing and kayak on the Chattooga River. I could tell many stories but I just wanted you to know more about North Carolina especially since the Fraser's will make their home in the beautiful mountains there. I love your vlogs, I've enjoyed learning more about Scotland! Thank you for sharing all these amazing places!

Limestone? Really good video thank you. Its so nice that you take your wife and sister swimming at a place like that spectacular outing I love when you show nature shots especially a thistle or two. You do seem to be very good at capturing nature.ps. please take care NOT to let horse flies bite they are now known to carry lyme disease & its co infections. Amazing surroundings and great temperature! In the Netherlands we are in the middle of a heat wave as well but here it has been between 32 and 37 degrees C for about two/three weeks now. Makes me wish I was back in beautiful Scotland. I hope next year the summer will be great as well because I’m planning a vacation to Scotland 😍 (also to see some Outlander filming locations 😜)

visited the Braklinn falls on our honeymoon but weather really hot then beautiful falls with a few pools for swimming but really want to visit them rainy season to see them in full flow

That place looks breath-taking... I would take (Scotish) nature to any city in the world. If you enjoy nature you should - I think I told you this before - come to Argentina where there are many nbeautiful places to visit... just a wee advice.. Next time you get in a river.. the your ¨flip flops¨ off.. Not only you will get more contact with nature.. but it can be even safer to walk on the rocks :P

This is how clean Vermont water is. We used to swim at the waterfalls called Four Corners,. This looks like Vermont to me

All of Vermont is beautiful and New Hampshire and Maine also have the mountains and waterfalls like this. But the area that I lived in for 12 years is called the Northeast Kingdom. It is located in the northeast part of Vermont and includes three counties; Essex, Orleans, and Caledonia Counties.

If you go to the State of Maine, you will find red squirrels. In NY, it's grey squirrels and in Washington Square Park in Manhattan, there are black squirrels, I shite you not. They are big like grey squirrels. Out in AZ, the ground squirrels are basically like chipmunks. A lot of animals in AZ are smaller than what I find elsewhere, like coyote, deer, etc. Just not a great environment to flourish. It's rough. When I lived in Iowa, the coyote were like huskies, where as here in AZ, they are like the cartoon. Scrawny at times. Anyway, Scotland always sounds good.
