Have been lucky enough to travel to Scotland the past 3 Septembers. Last year I went to several islands, Mull, Iona, Skye, Lewis and Harris. Luskentyre Beach was phenomenal! Yes the water is cold but I went in anyway. Even with the clouds the water was stunning. The temp was in the low 50's as was the water temp. F degrees. In Celsius about 12-13 degrees. I would do it again in a heartbeat! Virginia in the summer usually 90 to 106 F. 35-40 C. I'll take Scotland any day.

Stunning Vlog Shaun. The last time I remember (And actually experienced similar temperatures)on the West Coast was way back in 1976! (Showing my age now) I was 14. It was so hot that the local Councils and Highways departments had to set up one way at a time convoy management for traffic on certain hills with traffic following a gritter wagon up and down leading the way spreading sand to try and stop the tar on the roads sticking to the vehicles wheels! The one hill I remember the best was called "Rest and be thankful" I think it was just North of Lochgilphead. The tyres were quite a bit bigger in diameter despite the sand when we hit the summit and that's no lie. The climb out of Garelochhead to the North West was just as tricky if not quite as bad. I remember Gare Loch around Faslane was so flat and calm it was hard to look at the water, like looking into a mirror facing the sun. Watching your video has brought back all those marvellous memories from 43 years ago. What else can I say but thanks!

For those that are metrically challenged 27* Celsius= 80.6* Fahrenheit. Looks like very nice weather to me, glad for you all, it is to be enjoyed at such an enjoyable place. Unfortunately for us it's going to be around 35* C (95 F) with approx. 80-85% humidity where I'm at in the U.S. (again unfortunately it's a very normal summer day here, it will often get warmer than this), you just stand still and you're pouring sweat, unless you have cover and maybe even a fan it makes cooking out not a fun experience, it's much the reason the SE U.S. has a reputation for moving slow. Good time for a nice ice filled glass of Lemonade.
