In this video Niall has a sarcastic and irreverent look at the evolution of totalitarianism in Scotland, and doesn't wish to land in Edinburgh just in case he has to identify as female so he can share a cell with J.K. Rowling.

Northern Ireland is the one place I was most scared to go, sounding like a Londoner whilst being a Murphy. I feared I would have twice the enemies. 😆 Nevertheless, welcome.

@@MrOpaquelens The people in northern Ireland have more in common with each other than not, it was just divide and conquer tactics here, and now we know why, the invasion of Ireland is off the charts and the pressure is rising and it's not going to be pretty,.... GREAT video mate btw.

Greetings from Scotland. I should like to state publicly that Hamza Yousef is a wise and benevolent leader proudly representing the land of his fathers, Nicola Sturgeon is stunningly attractive and definitely not on the take, and all gay/black/trans people are supreme beings.

Imagine if they brought in hate crime laws after kids up and down the country were doing Joey Deacon impressions in school playgrounds in 1982. They couldn't build the juvenile detention centres fast enough to warehouse them all after being arrested. All they would learn in them is how to make better Joey Deacon impressions. Not that I approve of kids making those impressions, but they could be dealt with in school through lectures, writing lines, and writing essays in detention. There could be a knifeman running amok on a council housing estate stabbing people at random, but the police would rather arrest the 12 year old kid doing Joey Deacon impressions on a street cormer.

Yeah I think myself and every kid I was at school with would have been sent to Feltham. I think they'd have to have expanded the size of it.

@MrOpaquelens I had left school by then and had stopped watching Blue Peter. So, I wasn't aware of this until the 90s when I read a book about the Manic Street Preachers, and Nicky Wire was nicknamed Joey Deacon for being double jointed or like he was. He was tall and gangly so would be physically awkward in his movements. My brother had left school by then but in the 70s he would make similar impressions at home of people speaking like that if they had been born deaf or had cerebral palsy as he wasn't used to seeing such people in the community out doing their shopping or visiting the library. They were all locked away at one time, so we couldn't see them and fear or mock them. But that did more harm than good. My brother learned the impressions at school in the boys' half of the playground, and he also learned the racist jokes there, which he told me at home. Then I would pass them onto my friends at school them and they were shocked if they didn't have brothers in their pre-teen or early teens. So, I was facing the early versions of wokeness at school. Consequently, I didn't have many female friends at school as they were rather prissy in my year. Much of it comes from religion. People think it all originated in academia or with campaign groups for marginalised people. Who knows where the wokeness started. Some say it started in the tech industry in Silicon Valley. My brother also knew some of the nicknames the teachers had such as Ged Zeppelin and The Alan Print Set which were puns on their names (Mr Gedersky and Mr Alan Print) and bands in the charts at the time (Led Zeppelin and The Alan Price Set).

@MrOpaquelens I can imagine the kids in Feltham saying to cell mates, when they are woken up at 6am, "Morning. It's another day of perfecting our Joey Deacon impressions." Or when they first arrived, the new intake asked each other what they were in for. "House burglaries", "Shoplifting on a big scale and then caught speeding in a getaway car", and "I was part of a drug running gang and we got into a big fight with a rival gang. That's when the police raided our homes and found the drugs." But most would say, "I committed no crimes other than making Joey Deacon impressions in the school playground." It would be interesting to see what the performances in the annual Christmas revue would be like. They would write little plays or rewrite existing plays to all have a Joey Deacon like character in them, and those roles would go to the ones who make the best impressions of him. They would be the most sought-after roles.
