Nice clip! You would really deserve a larger audience

Interesting. So many train changes though! I guess the Orient Express to Istanbul is a thing of the past. Also interesting to see the trains go from ultra-modern in Western Europe to older trains in Central and Eastern Europe. The older Eastern trains after Vienna appear to be well-maintained though. Scenery not too interesting until you get to the Sofia Bulgaria area. Thanks for posting this!

I could have kept watching it a bit longer and it would be great if you mentioned whether you had a sleeper cabin or day seat for some of the journeys. How long did it take to do the journey?

Could you share a bit about the cost of this journey?

Hi! For majority of this journey I was using an Interrail Global pass, which covers most trains in the whole of Europe (except home country). Prices of these passes vary depending on age and duration of validity. The trains I did not use the pass for: Arad to Bucharest Sleeper - run by Astra Trans Carpatic this cost around €65 for a private en suite cabin Sofia to Istanbul - run by Turkish Railways, this costs around €30 to 70 depending on route and travel class, this also must be booked at the station in Sofia, or through one of a few travel agents that can arrange this (with associated fees) I stayed in hotels along the route in: Thurso, Scotland - €77 Nuremburg, Germany - €48 Vienna, Austria - €50 Gyor, Hungary - €35 Bucharest, Romania - €38 Sofia, Bulgaria - €49
