An idyllic place to pitch up Murray. It must have felt like being the first visitor since the last ice age carved and gouged it's imprint in the earth, ten thousands of years ago. Pristine, unspoiled by the careless presence of man. Remote harsh and desolate of aspect, softened only where the clouds allow the sun to touch. Achingly beautiful, it draws me in and stirs memories of earlier times when I too roamed my wanderings in empty places. Thankfully there are you and others who take the trouble to document it in video form for we whom circumstance restrains, to re-visit through your eyes. Your videos are deeply appreciated, so, many and sincere thanks are your due. I look forward to enjoying many more, and may you continue to enjoy good health to do what you do so well.

John McNab - I met a father and daughter at Loch Nan Euan many years ago . I was descending a nearby mountain to the ( very surprising ) sound of bagpipes and met the lady first who explained her father visited this loch yearly to play a tune there on his bagpipes for his deceased friend. It's something I will never forget.

Nice. Congrats on catching such a beautiful night sky. My knowledge of the local fauna sounds is miserable. But there is a bird (might be the same that's saluting you at 6.00, just different call) that once just got us. Far North. Awe inspiring space. Not another human soul. The just after sunset silence that gets your heart breathing. Only a murmur of a stream and a couple of birds calling to each other. We are sitting by the tents and just about neighing like horses. Because there is one of those guys flying circles around and in that twilight silence he (?) sounds exactly like somebody is having a good time on an old spring mattress.
