Wow Murray! To have the motivation to do all of that while also filming at such a high standard deserves a lot of credit. Got to love how honest your films are and also the way you describe everything you have to overcome along the route. Those river crossings certainly looked relentless too. Well done on the editing of this film Murray. This would've took a lot of time to edit all the clips together whilst choosing the correct music for the scenery. What a great way to end the year mate! Don't think I've ever requested this to another camping channel but these 60-90 minute videos are great and it would be fantastic if you could produce more throughout this year. ATB Gaz.

Hi Murray - Greetings from Norway! This is the first video of yours that I have watched. It came up randomly on KZbin and I thought I'd give it a watch. I didn't think I would watch the whole thing without fast forwarding, but once I started watching I couldn't stop. You are not only a great hiker, but a great filmmaker as well. I loved your attention to detail when you set up the camera countless times to do the walk-by shots. I can't imagine how much extra time that added to your hike, but I appreciated the huge effort because it gives the viewer a different perspective rather than just carrying the camera while you hike. This won't be the last video of your I watch, as now I'm hooked. Thanks.

This is the ultimate in Scottish hillwalking documentaries Murray. You had the experience to tackle this adventure, and yet it challenged you. I’m so glad you got back to the van in time, defo no need to apologise Murray, you took us so far to rugged isolated and emotive landscapes probably sacrificing your own enjoyment along the way. It was Majestic and I’ve done a bit of sharing onto my twitter account, it’s just such a privilege to be up there with you, so we can experience these moments of sheer wonderment with you, this is one of my favourites for a few reasons, one being the safety warnings and the seriousness of the ascent and descent in such rugged terrain, I thank you deeply for carrying us all in your backpack , god we must weigh a few tonnes ! 😄 with the deepest respect Old Owl 🦉 Alaya.

Of course I’m going to watch this one as well ! Your story telling is superb Murray, it’s so emotive, I nearly cried when you left Inverie, that feeling of not wanting to leave, are moments that memories are made of that never leave your mind, it’s like a small death that you grieve, especially if you think your not returning, that’s why I’m watching the first one in the wrong order, Ahhh Murray, your warnings are much appreciated at the beginning and surly set the stage for what I believe will be an arduous adventure, thank you deeply Murray for making this incredible content available to us, you have no idea what it means to us that can no longer do it, brings tears to the eyes Murray, bless you Old Owl 🦉 Alaya.

Stunning mate, one of the best and I'm not even finished the video yet. Really got me thinking of a long awaited return to Knoydart. Just finished and first of all, full respect for heading into this area during some of the shortest days of the year. That was quite epic pairing up those two Corbetts. Looking at the map you covered a lot of rough ground. The loch you crossed in between, I'm sure Hamish Brown once said it was one of the finest spots to wild camp in Scotland. 🏕

It would make a stunning wild camping spot TBH Robin - ideally placed for these two mountains too (unless there thick fog though!lol) Take care and thanks for watching ATB Murray

@@daveg-j1866 I thought so. I've only seen it from the CWT but it looked wild and remote in there. Murray's vid confirmed that.

Thanks for taking me on a trip to one of the remotest areas of Scotland in beautiful weather. A place I will probably never get to visit. A brilliant way to spend 90 minutes on a cold January evening. Your filming and editing is appreciated.

Late to the party but I've finally got round to watch this video. You got me glued from the 1st minute, as it often happens with your videos, but this one is just outstanding. Stunning scenery, great editing and once again most entertaining and informative dialogue. A pleasure to watch, thank you.

@@ScotlandsMountains I saw your post on fb a couple of weeks ago and I've been looking forward to the video since, I know that it'll be worth waiting for! In the meantime I keep enjoying your equally stunning other videos - even though I live just across the border, logistics are not always that simple, distances can be quite substantial and costs involved are not the lowest, so your videos are the best next thing to actually being there. Keep up the great work Murray (knee permitting of course) :)

This was brilliant, I didn't seem like an hour and 1/2 because it was interesting and very well filmed.

To set off on a winter expedition, over that terrain, in December - you're expectations must have been low. To be rewarded with summit utopia was clear to see from your reactions. You could have been forgiven for splitting it into two episodes however, the experience, effort and adventure would have been a little lessened. This is one I will watch again Murray - an epic. Thank you very much for sharing. 👏👏👏😇
