Another fantastic adventure Murray, popped this on the big screen at the weekend. Absolutely incredible views, we were watching through our hands when you were climbing that Ridge though 😳🙈. Your banter with Gerry always makes us chuckle, you two should have your own TV show😆👍. We have to side with Gerry on the artisan pork pie and iron bru jelly babies though (incidentally we found bags of iron bru jelly babies for 79p in our local home and bargains last week, we bought 7 bags so we are stocked up for summer!😆👍🍬). Thanks for taking us to see these stunning landscapes once again, epic as always😊👌

Walked that for the first time last summer. 5 Munros In reverse of this route doing the Ring of Steall. It was a glorious sunny day for the most part until a storm blew in just as we got to the start of the Devils Ridge. Thunder, High Wind, Heavy Rain & Poor Viz on really exposed ground. We were ready to abort at one point until it passed after about 30/40 mins and we grabbed the window of opportunity to get ourselves over the Ridge and onto our 5th Munro and down off the mountains. A great day that I won't forget. But heart in mouth stuff at one point.

Raw beetroot ( complex carb long acting) is cut into thin slices and Brazil nuts, dried organic mango with a mix of gofio ( which is a Spanish mix of all kinds of goodness which you just mix with water and squish it into balls you can add sultanas or raisins to it as well) I went on a 10 day climb in the caldera de tributante in La Palma and a bag of gofio and the dried fruit was all my body needed, each to their own though, that’s what I say , devils ridge looked like it deserved the name, brilliant video, thank you so much. I'm team scotch egg personally. My snack of choice is home bargains 29p flapjacks, 500 calories and easy to eat. Knowing my luck if I remortgaged my house to buy a farmhouse pork pie it would be crushed and soggy at the bottom of my rucksack. Ring of steall one of my favourites, done it on a very hot summers day. On the bucket list to try it in winter. Great video 👍

Hi Murray, I love your videoes but have to take issue with one item. I spent my teenage years from 1980-1987 at Currie High School nr. Edinburgh. This was ironically a good outcome for me, however one thing stood out. We were provided with school lunches and a regular offering was Scotch Eggs. I grew to hate this aspect of school which I had no control over. I managed to leave school at age 17 for university and have managed to never have another Scotch Egg since. I will keep an open mind and as I now must stay gluten free if I am ever offered a gluten free Scotch Egg I will give it a try. Keep up the good work. Love the videoes taking me to places I may never get the chance to visit.
