I know it was hell, fighting on that freezing mountain all those years ago. I had a friend in the 2nd battalion who was injured up there... Some of us still remember what you went through, are still proud of what you did, and still extremely grateful. Thank you...

I used to work with a guy called Collin Forbes he was a Sergeant in the 2nd btln Scots Guards on the Falklands

Ian Morton was one of my instructors at the Guards Depot, an absolute legend to us crows, very sorry to hear of his passing.

Dave Newman he came to the first battalion as a platoon bloke in Germany, a few of the younger lads knew him as an instructor at the depot .

Jock Davidson , one of my biggest influences ever . He trained me at Pirbright in 1984 . I think we were his last platoon before he retired . I think his nick name at Depot was the tasmanian devil , others from Left Flank knew him as ' RHINO' , he taught us well . Hope your well mate , Peter the Para - Tony Smith
