I understand what Adams is saying. At Walmart last week I was behind a young black mother with her kids. Her card was declined. She didn't have junk on the conveyor belt. No chips, sweets or soda. Just real food to cook for her family. She told the cashier her student loan money should've been there. Nursing school. This was my sister standing there!!! . I was her 25 years ago. Looking at what I could put back. I watched her do the same. I discreetly paid for her stuff. $47. She wasn't on a shopping spree. We exchanged numbers because nurses have a special relationship with one another. After she walked away, I was bombarded with racist comments from the cashier and a black woman behind me. It was horrible. "You feel good that she couldn't pay!! Makes you feel superior doesn't it! We don't need your white ass helping us!!" Neither the cashier nor the black woman behind me offered to help this young mother out though. This type of treatment makes white people hesitate to help and or advocate.

White, male, born '75; I took this position about 15 years ago. In the 80's I was told that I needed to understand minority issues, and I tried. I just listened and read extensively about the narrative of being a minority in America. In the 90's I was told that I would never fully understand the racism problem. I looked long and hard at myself for what are now called; unconscious bias and microaggressions. In the '00's I was told I could do nothing to alleviate racism/sexism in America, despite the fact I felt the "White/Minorities" relationship had taken 3 steps back from the 70' and 80's. In the '10's I checked out of the conversation. No more protesting, no more petitions, no more activism. I own one property, I own no businesses, I hold no political or judiciary power (on any level). I have no power or authority to deny or provide (for that matter) ANY human being their Constitutionally protected rights. *Plainly speaking; First I was told what I needed to learn, then told I wasn't able to learn, finally told I can't be a part of the solution as a (by default/born this way) member of the majority. While there were 3700 blacks who enslaved over 12,000 people including white slaves. The problem is so called blacks have become too lazy to do the work and read the real history. During middle ages, blacks treated whites like animals. In Europe, whites were the peasant class and they were oppressed big time. The word slave comes from the Slavic people who are white. Even in early 1900's over 1.5million whites were sold into slavery into North Africa and Arab countries. Anyways, screw'em. Their loss. I don't want to be a white savior, but I sure as hell wish someone from the black community would stand up and try to be a black savior, because the culture, in my experience and what I've seen, is destroying itself.

He wrote back privately to tell me it wasn’t me or our family he was talking about. He loved us and respected us. What a comforting thing to hear, but it isn’t what he said publicly. I'm an older white male who grew up in a primarily African American part of Oakland, CA. I did experience some hatred my first year there, but it went away over time. That being said, my defining experience came when I purchased my first home and started a family. My neighbors were both black, but were completely different. My neighbor to the South remains one of the kindest neighbors I have ever had. We remained friends for years after I moved to another state. The neighbor to the North not only tried to prevent the sale of the home to a white person, but they also refused to say a word to me in the seven years I lived there. If they had a complaint, they walked past my home to Calvin's home and told him to let me know what they had a problem with. The lesson I learned from my experience is that color means nothing about who someone is. Unkind people, for whatever reason, come in all forms, and that is who we should stay away from.

I've worked in the same place for 15 years. Until about 3 yrs ago, it was a predominantly white, as far as employees go. During/after covid, they had increased the black employees to the point where they're half of the population of the plant. When the population was between 2-20%, everything was fine and friendly. Nobody mistreated the black employees, they were friends & treated like family. Now, you can't even look across a room without being accused of something and their is 24/7 hostility. It's not "poverty" that causes it. They're making the same amount as the rest of us, and it's good pay. It's because they're always looking for a fight with white people.

I hate to say it but I feel the same way Scott Adams does. And I used to be a super liberal guy. I was in two long term relationships with black women. There were periods of my life when I was around more black people than white people. But over the last 5-7 years, events in my personal life and events in the larger cultural landscape have made me simply want to disengage from black people/culture. I'm so tired of it. I'm tired of whites being demonized and blacks being championed. I'm tired of blacks and other groups openly celebrating and expressing pride in their culture when I'm not allowed to do the same. I'm tired of how you can't even criticize blacks for any reason whatsoever even if the criticism is totally justified. You just get sick of it eventually. It just reaches a point where it's like: "do your own thing, I really don't care." Also, Scott Adams is right about the violent black crime thing. And he only scraped the surface. There are rapes and attacks of white women and girls by black guys with some regularity. And some of it is just brutal. When you read some of the articles and see some of the footage, it just changes you. A few times a month, I'll see some cases of really extreme stuff. Look up Daisy Paulsen from a couple years ago. 14 year old white girl stabbed many times by some random 24 year old black dude. Why wasn't that covered in the mainstream media? Why is George Floyd famous and Daisy Paulsen isn't? Once you start looking into that stuff and seeing the other side, there's no turning back. Black sins are hidden. White sins are put on blast by the media and the education system. It's obscene. It's evil. And I know I can't be the only one who's aware of this and who's sick to death of it. I mean, just look at the videos Tatum showed of all those black people completely shitting on white people. And they get celebrated for it!?!?!? Not only by blacks but also by stupid, asslicking, liberal, whites... It's insane. It's good that there's reasonable black folks out here but, generally speaking, it's rough. The whole dynamic is just rough.

As a person of color the most racists people against me have been blacks and some Latinos but mostly black. In the working world I try to take each individual for what they display. I have to say most not all blacks have shown a lack of work ethic , knowledge, diligence, andddd moral lawful behavior on the job. This adds to the stereotypes and hurts their culture more. I’ve also heard this from countless other workers of all colors too. I have many black friends too who I call normal… like other minorities they are educated , talk like we all do and you just don’t see color. All the calling blacks uncle Toms- that’s what’s wrong w their culture and why a good number can’t become successful like other minorities. They have every opportunity like anyone to live a good life. Just ask Denzel who came from the hood or Obama, Oprah, all the doctors, politicians, athletes , lawyers who are millionaire blacks. Other minorities come to this country w less and become successful not even knowing English. They key is education, God, being a lawful citizen and being more humble… fake it til you make it. That or keep living in bad areas and have a hard life. All minorities get treated w racism but don’t let that stop you and make you bitter.

I used to work EMS in a predominantly low income white and black area and I’d say 85% of shootings were black on black. I’ll never forget where a teen black girl was shot through the right side of her chest over comments she made about another black womans baby on Facebook. They got into an altercation at a mall, were kicked out and the other woman came back in a car and shot her and drove off…. Along with multiple shootings over shoes, random drive by’s, party murders, robbings…. I mean, it changes you and it’s sad to see. The other thing is that none of these things were ever covered by the media. But when a white officer pulled a gun(didn’t even shoot) on a black suspect in my area the local news decided to report on it…. We had an officer crash his car into a black male fleeing police and was consequently shot in the face with a sawed off and flown to a trauma center…. Radio silence from the media… and this was all before George Floyd…. That’s when I started to wake up to reality.

@@christopherstein2024 Well, the black on black crime thing is completely out of control. Everybody knows that. But I was just saying that black on white crime is far more common than white on black, by many times. Which is statistical fact, not opinion. It's way more of a problem than most people realize because mainstream media simply doesn't cover it anymore. You have to go to local media and rightwing sites to see it. Every week, I see horrific stuff. Rapes, murders, etc. If the races were swapped, these stories would be international news. But the victims are white and the perpetrators are black, so the stories are ignored.
@captainbeastazoid708411 ай бұрын
@@dana.9377 I had a similar experience. The Daisy Paulsen story I mentioned was the first thing that woke me up. 14 year old white girl stabbed 20-some times by same random black guy. She goes into a coma and dies shortly thereafter. Radio silence from the media. I found out about it from a British rightwing newspaper and then confirmed it with local media reports which, ofcourse, downplayed the racial element. Also, the murder of Cannon Hynant and Cash Gernon, two little white boys murdered by black men, were similarly ignored and/or downplayed. Since then, I've been following a site which compiles articles and videos of black on white crime. And every week or two I see something insane like this. It's amazing how the media can create a narrative which is precisely the opposite of the ground level reality.

As an old Black man who grew up in the South in the 50's and 60's, you young men are such an inspiration. Your videos are so addictive because you are able to discuss crucial issues and see from all sides. Your videos should be required curriculum to watch in schools. I grew up in the "hood". We called it the "ghetto" back then and I have seen racism from Blacks toward Whites and Blacks toward other Blacks of different cultures and even skin tone. You ever heard of the "brown paper bag test"" referred to in Louisiana? And yes I have seen racism from Whites, but are all Whites, racist, nope, most of them are not. Are all Blacks dangerous to be around, nope, not the ones that I associate with. So as some of you stated in the video, it comes down to how you are taught, your family values and what your exposure is and as was also stated economics plays a big part. And the biggest thing that was said, If you are a true Christian, you can't hate anyone. We have to stop judging people as a group and treat individuals as they show you how they want to be treated individually. You guys are always so right on. Keep on producing guys. I moved from Texas to Washington D.C. in the late 90’s. I was a property manager and was one of 10 white people in the 240 unit building. I was told straight up that the reason I was hated is because I was white. Coming from a small Texas town where there were few people of color, it was a good experience. I experienced being hated because of the color of my skin, it is a bad feeling. There was a black lady in the building that would stop and check on me because she knew people were mean to me. They would bring dead rats and put them on my desk, etc. Her name was Mrs. Brooks and she was an angel. One day I ask her what happened to her eye (she had a glass eye). She told me that during the race riots she was attacked by 5 white men. They beat her and left her for dead and kicked her eye out. I asked her why she wasn’t bitter (in my thinking if anyone hated me for being white, she was justified, but she was kind instead), she told me “oh, I just decided to not be”. Many life lessons were learned in that time. You guys are level headed brilliant guys!

This is unfortunate. When people around you are toxic, hurting and hurtful thats what will happen. That is the human condition, race may be a component but not the problem. Scott Adam's dealt with the black community as if it lacking and made himself the savior. He felt entitled putting on a super hero complex. It back fired. His conclusion is all black people can't be helped. An alcoholic would have the same exact response to a friend or family member trying to "intervene" superhero complex, trying to fix and hold people accountable when they aren't ready or willing to change. It will back fire. Jordan Peterson says it best, take care of your own self, fix yourself first before you go fixing someone else or the world. If each person fixes themselves the world will fix itself. Scott Adams already believed he arrived. In your work environment, they are the problem as individuals, not as a color. That place is toxic with a victim and entitled mentality. I would encourage you to leave and surround yourself with people who want more out of life regardless of their ethnicity. I hope you get to experience good people with good character to reinforce that a group of people does not define individuals and individuals do not define any group. Stay safe and encourage friend.
