This is America!!! Yes, we do have our PRIVILEGE to be able to vote. How there are 40 million people here in America who call themselves "Christian" but who refuse to vote is baffling to me . . . In Exodus, when Jethro comes to visit Moses & sees how overwhelmed he is dealing with the complaints of the people every single day & gives him advice to select highly respected members among each of the 12 tribes for those people to go to, then only problems they cannot resolve get brought to Moses . . . THAT is the example of government by REPRESENTATION & also hierarchy of a judicial system, with 1 leader over all to make decisions when they can't be resolved among the people at lower levels. Do you not see how our founding fathers patterned our United States 3 tiered system upon this, set up by God, a son reaps ting his elder, honoring to his father & honoring God in the process!!!

I wonder if I may respectfully ask a question? I'm 71 and have always treasured my right to vote. This is the first time I've begun to question if I can vote in this election. I've done the "hold my nose" and vote for whoever is closest to my beliefs in some past elections. This time something's nudging me...and I'm questioning myself and my convictions. So, if I think God says there are male and female...if I believe life begins at conception....if I believe Scripture that says God will bless those who stand with Israel etc....who do I vote for? I certainly don't want to be ungodly, lazy, unkind or judgemental. God has forgiven my sins and I am saved by grace. So, what I am struggling with is how can I vote contrary to God? I've always said if you don't vote you can't complain. The Bible tells me to pray for leaders and I sometimes struggle with that. I wish you, or anyone else could help me reconcile voting for policies that, to me, seem against God. Because who I have always been is to "overlook" some of what I disagree with to vote for someone who meets most of my conservative views. I am genuinely experiencing stress over this. Please don't think I am criticizing you or anyone. I am merely speaking about my current struggle wanting to know how I reconcile these things. Sorry to be so long.

I have felt convicted as well and even though people say to vote for the lesser of the 2 evils.. evil is evil and they both stand for things that go against my Lord and I stand with Jesus. So as a child of God my belief is this, I would rather stand with God than to compromise against His word just to say I voted for “the lesser of the 2 evils” I hope this helps you.
