As a Knights player who runs a nearly identical list I might be able to clarify I couple things. 1. The Knights reroll ANY one hit roll and one wound roll not just rolls of 1. You got doubly lucky that this guy didn't know what he was doing. 2. Normally I also deploy my Atrapos with Mysterious Guardian on the table but that's because I'm putting Canis Rex in reserves and I don't want nearly half my army off the table. Your opponent might normally do the same thing but wanted to have everything on the table for shooting this time? In any case it sounded like he was not super experienced with Knights. Doing a Leroy Jenkins with the Lancer is a rookie mistake.

I really enjoyed the interview. Very thoughtful questions and responses and I appreciate the honesty of Scott about his game with Russell. I think we all have been guilty from time to time of not being a great opponent and it’s incumbent on all of us to improve. Just subbed the channel and can’t wait for more content.

@joushi i LOVE your channel, its really educational for an improving guard player and entertaining. I have a suggestion, could you get the interviewees to take a picture of their 2k army? and you could have it on screen in the background during the first minute or two of your interviews? just an idea, i love all aspects of the hobby, comp gaming, casual gaming, building and painting, i think this would add something to your already excellent vids in the interview format.
