With a tip o' the hat to Joshua Rifkin, who in 1970 started the great revival of Joplin's music. Probably this is a remastered CD of the original vinyl records....Scott Joplin - His Complete Works - Label: Nonesuch Records (1974)

yes in some joplin's ragtimes you need to stomp your foot while playing (it's written on the sheet)

Sad story about this recording - Richard Zimmerman got sued for the royalties because three of the songs were not in public domain yet, and the copyright was still held by the estate of Lottie Joplin.
