Love it!...you and Chocotiger played this ragtime piece real well!
@RetroPianist5 жыл бұрын
It's easy to suck the life out of this piece by playing it too fast or blandly. With that said, this recording hits the mark with nice variety in dynamics and a mature touch.

Love how you play those octaves so effortlessly. Super clean performance 👌

About 5 years ago, this was my high school piano recital piece. I watched you then, but I never expected to see this on your channel. Wonderful video man!

So classic! Also your way of playing piano, I think you’re the one still didn’t use synthesia visualization! Really so classic!
@MrJeanBombers5 жыл бұрын
You're fake news. Most of piano players don't use Synthesia.

Great playing!! I can only get to the meaty part of entertainer. Searching his channel to see if he did Bolero yet.

I saw your comment on Bonner's video, are you planning on getting a Nord Stage? I'm gonna try one out in London soon. Owning a Kawai myself, I can confirm their key action is decent.

2:07 Was that a mistake? Swear I've made that one so many times on The Entertainer.
@markfowlermusic5 жыл бұрын
There are numerous mistakes dotted around this performance, but trying to get a 100 per cent clean performance is so difficult I find with ragtime, it's a nightmare to record as it is.

sheet music?
@RetroPianist5 жыл бұрын
When it comes to older or classical piano sheet music, imslp.org is probably your best bet. For The Entertainer, you can find multiple editions of the sheets here: imslp.org/wiki/The_Entertainer_(Joplin,_Scott)
