Eggy lad! Rods low is an obtuse angle where as rods high is more of an acute angle I only know because my daughter has just done it in maths 😬 the way I remember is a tight angle is small, cute acute where as the big angle past 90 degrees is obtuse - large like my gut 😄 loving the blogs 👍

That`s what it`s all about, this guy catches fish, and usually big ones, wherever he goes, but the buzz he still gets when a plan works out is amazing. Keep on enjoying it.

I recently got into it because I never paid it much mind but there’s an extremely similar fish called a small mouth Buffalo that is native to the US, it’s near identical to the carp, fights just as hard if not more and can grow to 40kg. It’s the silver pearlescent twin of the common. They also fish the same, boilies and all. Check out the souther n or Midwestern US if you ever happen to find yourself there.
