Yeah, you guys are right about the whole 'canadiens and English don't make as much of a deal about hipsters'. I'm English, live in London, and have literally no idea what you mean when you refer to a 'hipster'. It literally doesn't exist over here, but I hear Americans talking about them all the time.

The best movie of 2010 hands down!!! Just saw it for the 5th time in the theater today as well as countless of other times. Better than Sex!

@BlackKat226 Usually a white, upper-middle class 20-something individual who tries to reject his or her privileged upbringing by indulging in working class aesthetics (thrift store clothing, older music, etc.) and attempts to reject pop culture by being ironic and critical as possible about it. The problem is, their effort ultimately fails because hipsters strive to be as indie as possible; but being that way broke into the mainstream years ago
