I am floored with those results - absolutely amazingly impressive! Nice work On1...

Interesting stuff! Looking forward to using it as the needs arise. Looks like it struggles with the glasses @ 03:50 the eyes and scruffy beard came out nice, but the glasses seem to be a bit off?

Of all 2023.5 videos I watched, this one is the best regarding face recovery I have seen. While I am not a portrait person, I want to do some street portrait now LOL. You`ve nailed it. This ON1 upgrade is worth every penny since I purchased the 2023 edition. Thank you so much for sharing.

I think the problem is that, impressive though the tech is, it is creating a manufactured face, so for strangers, this may be acceptable, but for familiar faces, not so much. This is one of those AI enhancements, like powerline removal, where the initial reaction is wow!, but on sober reflection gets toned down to 'use sparingly or when desperate'.

Face recovery can use a bit of refinement in the next update. Topaz Photo AI does a better job at this point.

Scott in ON1RAW is it possible for you to do one video but two separate models, one light skin and one dark skin, making them look like a painting with a fine art background, also can you point out step by step the same selections and layers you would have used in Photoshop

Face recovery let’s you turn off individual faces, but you cannot adjust settings individually per face. You could run each photo through multiple times, once per model, and use layers to blend.

I've tried this but when I click find faces, it reverts to a non-zoomed screen. Nothing has happened and the prompt is asking "DONE?". When zoomed in again, no changes have happened. Advice?
@ScottDavenport Жыл бұрын
When you're in 'find faces' mode, there should be small boxes around the faces in the preview area. In 'find faces', you're choosing which faces are included and excluded from Face Recovery. Only if you select/deselect a face will you see a change when clicking Done. Further adjustments to the amount of Face Recovery affects only the faces you've included.

Thanks Scott. I don't think it goes into 'find faces'. It doesn't show the same 'thinking mode' that your example does. I tried this on a photo of a single man, so there was no ambiguity about which face there was. Any further suggestions? @@ScottDavenport

I feel like an idiot asking this question, but I can't figure out how to access Face Recovery. What button/icon do I press to get into Face Recovery?
@ScottDavenport Жыл бұрын
It is inside the Resize AI module. One of the panels on the right.

you are way too impressed for something other alternatives can do much better

Amazing! The only problem for an old codger like me, with these ongoing improvements is keeping track of them all and remembering they're there! 🙂 But one of the good things about new versions of ON1 is that we get to watch SD explain them to us. Thanks and cheers from DownUnder 🦘
