Anyone looking for a great workshop experience should seriously consider Scott. I attended this Big Sur workshop and Scott is a great WS leader. A perfect combination of work out on location followed by great instruction indoors on how to effectively post process. I highly recommend Scott's workshops and plan to attend again.

Similar approach to achieve the same kind of effect, if you can find a white or neutral grey, adjust the colour temperature using the percentage figures under the histogram so that instead of all 3 figures being the same, the blue percentage is a point or two higher than red and green.

a very nice small change example Sometimes the little adjustments can make a pleasing change that you cant actually pick

Glad you enjoyed it, Mark. As I probably said in the video, usually less is more with curves.

Great tip. I've found that, for seascapes on grey days, it nearly always improves the shot to add some blue. We expect to see blue at the beach, but often there really is none. I usually add a pure blue filter to the entire scene and then modify the opacity and/or luminosity mask it to bring out the blues we think we see. 👍🏻

Hey Ted! A color overlay with a luminance mask is another good approach.
