I was recently on a live chat and was puzzled how somebody had replied to me, but had managed to highlight my name. I simply asked on the same chat how this was done. I know now ... just type the @ symbol plus the name of the person you want to reply too, with the exact same spelling and it will be highlighted. At first I thought it didn't work, but it only appears highlighted to the 'named person' and nobody else, not even the sender, which was a bit strange .. how do you know youv'e done it right. hi, great video, I just have a doubt about premiers videos, when I was watching and sending some messages on the live chat I could see it but when the premier ended when I was doing the replay my messages don't appear anymore !

Is there an easy way to know if the person running the livestream has blocked you. I type in any of the livestreams for one particular youtubber and the message shows up when I first type it, but goes away if I refresh the screen. Also, no one replies to my messages. Chats in other youtubbers livestreams seem to work better...

I am a roleplayer for rp live streams. On the live stream, basically I have to write "hi ho]]" infront of themessages which that will help to show messages but I am annoyed by the glitch. Also that when I type a message too, I reload the chat and it doesn't show my account name above the message which is showing in the chat. This is good advice but is there anything to fix this glitch? ^^

There is a lady that has a Channel mostly homemaking stuff. She strongly scolds anyone who types numbers example 65 degrees . She said You Tube will penalize her if you chat numbers so she makes you spell them out-sixty five degrees. I think she is incorrect but does videos instructing that this is a you tube rule.
