Reed's last drive again LSU bothered me. Reed can throw. He needs to throw. You can't allow LSU or anyone else to put everyone in the box to stop Reed. Maybe at that point in the game a TD wasn't needed, so they didn't care that much. If the offensive coordinator wants to run with some option scheme, the pass has to be a threat to keep the defense off balance.

I get that it was exciting watching him run during the 2nd half of the game and beat LSU, but didn’t it come out that LSU didn’t really plan for him at all? Sure it was their mistake, but he only passed the ball 2 times the entire time. Its not to take away from him, but Saturday feels more like lighting in a bottle at the perfect time rather than a sustainable path moving forward, because you can bet every opponent moving forward will have a plan for him, and then he will have to pass the ball. Not saying he isnt dangerous, or good, but when the QB only throws twice after coming in as a backup, then i want to see some full game with him passing the ball when the run is shut down, thats all.
