Always been my fav Dustin Lynch song! His voice is perfect for this song and I love the way bass guitar is highlighted. ♥️ Great review! Much love again from Mississippi!

Dustin wrote this song about his grandparents. This is the one song that he plays every concert, especially if his grandparents are in the audience. He's from my area in East Tennessee.

Always took this song to be a sort of reflection on men and women in general. The abrasive nature of the average man and the gentle nature of the average woman. A balance, two sides of a coin.

Thank you for this. We all loved the reaction and truth be told, Dezmariah's father didn't want anything to do with me at first but these days we have a great relationship. And on a side note, you should see River's face everytime you speak. He just lights up. God bless.

My pleasure Jason. Send my regards to River and D please. Thanks a lot for the support. I hope you had a nice anniversary. Thanks for telling me that about River. That's lovely to hear 😁

Jason first of all Happy Anniversary to you and Dezmariah as well as River! Thank you as well and may God Bless you for your service. Back in the day I was a Cowboy and 15 years ago I found my Angel. God Bless and keep you and your family and as always thank you so much Don.

@@TheDonsChannel Of course. You are truly a celebrity in his eyes and his favorite at that. I might miss a video here and there, then I find myself binge watching a few videos in row just to catch up, but River? He never misses a single one and I suspect it'll be that way for years and years to come. I know for a fact he'd look at you like you were Clint Eastwood, John Wayne, Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley combined (his favorites) if he were to see you in person. I'll be honest I don't know where it comes from, but I love that he sees you that way. God bless you and your beautiful family.

My husband once gave me the greatest compliments. He said "Honey, you sure have trained me well." 😆 I laugh every time I think about it. God has given us 28 years together, 3 beautiful children, and 1 angelic grandbaby. If I die today, I will die happy and fulfilled.❤️

LOL, reminds me of our dad, only being in the military didn't earn you any brownie points (As a Marine himself it didn't impress him much) when they found out who our father was they tended to run in the opposite direction (per his orders) if it weren't for our mom we probably would have ended up spinsters.

This reminded me of my Dad. No man was good enough for his little girl. When he met my future husband, he decided that since he was a former Marine and was a policeman at that time maybe he was ok. Although Dad did tell him on our wedding day that if he ever layed a hand on me in anger, it would be the last thing he ever did! I really miss my Dad. 🥰
