I remember a weird moment from one of the Twilight movies where Bella got angry at Jacob for calling her daughter Nessie. "You nicknamed my daughter after *the Loch Ness monster?!!"*, and I thought "What's wrong with that? The Loch Ness monster is cool, and it's definitely an improvement over 'Reneesme.'"

My mother is a Wallace and I've always been incredibly interested in Scotland because of it. Your channel has been a goldmine of information. I'm hoping to make it over there to see the sights within the next few years. Maybe do a little backpacking and exploring where my ancestors would've lived, fought, and died.

I saw a shadow in the water when i was on holiday about 6 years ago to Loch Ness. To me it looked giant and it had shiny skin when the sun reflected through the water and it moved. I still remember it...So everyone! There is something in that loch even if its just a giant slug or something but there is something in that loch, havent found any kelpies though...need to keep looking. XD :) ;) And also, i think in one of the big scans (dont quote me on this. i could be wrong), They found 3 medium to big quanties of something in the water so maybe nessie had children!?

I went to Scotland five years ago and, hopefully, I'll go to work in Edinbourgh. I swimmed in Loch Ness but couldn't see Nessy. The best part of that was to drink some whiskey after the bath. :D I like your vids! Greeting from Spain!

One of your videos talked about scots who love America. Here there are a lot of spaniards who really like Scotland. And when I went it seems the opposite. Lot of scots liked a lot Spain, at least that's wahat they told me. Probably they were being polite. :rolleyes: xDD

There is a creature in the Chesapeake Bay in the US that is allegedly the same (but less known) than Nessie. Written legends only go back a couple hundred years, but Native Americans supposedly had legends about it. Of course a lot of Scots settled in the area, maybe seeing Nessie is directly related to the consumption of Scotch?!

Hmm, St. very Columba likely met a Kellie, and as for Nessie, my bet is that she's an English submarine. Like the RAF does in the highlands today, they think they're invisible up there .

I would like to think she's real. We have stories of a similar creature here in upstate New York. Champ is said to live in Lake Champlain. And since both lakes were formed at the same geologic time and by the same geologic processes, who can argue...

I don't think it would be a dinosaur kind of creature because the lake was made way after all of the dinosaurs died and it's too cold for them. And there's not enough fishy for the Nessy to survive in the lake. Big fish need to eat a lot of small fish. Or Nessy could have just walked out of the lake and eat some fresh fishers for lunch and survived?
@WeeScottishLass
@WeeScottishLass 9 жыл бұрын
jeffrey jeoung Yeah but the dino could have been frozen in the ice age and thawed out (eventually) in the lake >=D or some of the shifting could have opened up a section of the lake underground that leads out to the bigger oceans! Who knows? =D

There's Am Fear Liath Mhor (the Big Grey Man) but it lives in the mountains rather than the forests. It's more something sensed, a sense of primal fear in the wildlands. Has more in common with Pan than Bigfoot I think.

There could be some animal there, however and I hate to be the buzz kill, but no single organism lives for 1,400 years with the exception of certain trees. Also there can't be one single animal, you simply can't speak in terms of an animal, there has to be a group of animals, and any group of animals that big, would decimate the fish in the lake. I'm not really a skeptic more of a Fox Mulder, I want to believe. Cheers 🙂
