Hi Sam. OK so I'll put my hand up and tell you that I can't give any suggestions about stories, because I've never heard any of them. I've never ever been able to just fall asleep and I have been struggling for around 8 years now with insomnia. My normal time of falling asleep would take hours, with me getting more and more frustrated... that was, until I came across your channel. I cannot explain how you have managed to solve my problem, but when I put your stories on, I can guarantee you that I don't remember much after you tell us to get comfortable and close our eyes. I may give you 1 or 2 minutes after that sentence, but I couldn't tell you what any of your stories are about! I'd say I'm sorry, but I'm not (proper sorry this time)! You have enabled me to fall asleep so quickly and I can't thank you enough! I do tend to wake up after a couple of hours, but I normally go for your long stories just in case. When I do wake up, I may hear a sentence from you and I'm gone again. So please accept my absolute gratitude for saving my sanity. You're an absolute legend! 😊 💤🏆

Hi Sam. Thank you for your kind and thoughtful words in your opening. I do feel a personal connection, listening to you.. yours is the last voice I hear before I fall asleep. That is an intimate time for all of us. Stories about dogs or other animals will always be the ones that I choose first. I really enjoyed this .I love hearing about Scotland. One of the most peace filled evenings I have ever spent was sitting on a beach in Broadford(?) on the Isle of Skye, just as the sun was setting.. the view before me was bathed in pink and purple light.. love listening about history, people , places , legends, traditions and scenery… I loved in this video how my breathing fitted in with the rhythm of the waves- very clever of you. Thank you for telling such a great story( even though I heard less than half as I fell pleasantly asleep)

Broadford is the place, indeed - not a romantic place to me (having been a resident of the island), but it's wonderful that it can produce moments such as those! I'm back to my sleep stories and really really LOVED this. My favourite to date! 🥰😴. Did you record the waves sound yourself? Water and fire sounds are instant soothers for me. Will be using this one again am sure! Even though it was very brief I loved the live campfire video you did, rare for me to catch you live but happy I saw that one. You asked for suggestions so I'm going to give mine.... would love a story read over a live campfire, even if you only record 5 mins of fire and put on a loop while you read a story I'd love it. Or (and am getting greedy now) a beach campfire with the fire and waves together ❤🔥🌊⛺⛱ Take care and sleep well Sam, same to all your listeners xx
