this guy is not dissing his wife, he is making fun of himself. If you listen closely, he mentions Jen at 1:48, and that having spent time with both of them he now knows it a common occurrence. By which he means that people often mistake these two twin women. NOT that either of them is often promiscuous. He saw Katie's twin kissing somebody, and he wasn't aware yet of the existence of the twin, ffs. all people in the room know it - Jen is there with them; the bride's family is probably accustomed to these situations, the grooms family got the point. So yes, if the roles were reversed and the groom had a twin brother, the reaction might have been similar.
