It was really lovely to spend another afternoon with Gail and Alex and to see what they found too - so many great wee finds! Its amazing what eye can be trained to see! Craig sees blues really easily, but, until recently, didn't have an eye for marbles! haha! Any tips on removing small stones from inside the bead 🤔

I usually pick them out very carefully with a pin! It takes ages but it is the safest way ( you still stand a chance of chipping the edge of the bead! ) but be careful. You can try drilling the stones and sand out under water with a very small drill bit and a steady hand - I wouldn't recommend that if you have no experience drilling though. Thank you!
